Clean, comfy and out of the tourist trail

comfy bed, attentive staff, friendly service
Although it was very hard for the taxi driver to find, the room was pre-booked and magically the owner opened up shop at 3am to let me in - offering to sign me in the following morning. The woman is very friendly and motherly, looking after me and giveing me tourist options. The food was good, though not everything on the menu is available at all times. Sadly I got very ill in the days following, but unsure if it was from the hotel food, or some street food I tried - but just a word of warning. Altogher, would recommend the place if you need a comfy bed, cable tv and want to escape the tourist trail for a while. Great cafe called 'Mocha' within the block that offers a very western feel, airconditioning and intersting menu. If you love coffee, you'll be a happy chap.

comfortable, staff is friendlyt

quiet for this city, comfortable beds, staff speaks good english
First night we check in late because of our flight and we didn't get the room we reserved. Smelled like mothballs very strong. We didnt really enjoyed it. Next day we asked for another room since we were paying for a better une. Second floor, smell better, cleaner too. So if you go, just ask for a room not on first floor. Overall its an OK hotel. Quiet are compare to sudder st. But a 20 min. Walk from it

Very bad hostel!!!

The is no thing to remeber from this so bad hostel.
This place is a true nightmare. , and that was the worst When we arrived, they tried to give me a room I didn't reserved, a bad one absolutely not looking like to the suit we ordered. The hostel is expansive for what they propose. Wifi dont work. Staff is absolutely not kind. Rooms are dirty, and as a previous comment, they put white balls in rooms (naphtaline I think), and its stinks a lot, a pure chemical product. Impossible to avoid this smell in the whole hostel, it's very insane... When we had to leave, we were woke up a 9am to release the room at 10am for other costumers, but the check out was at 12! One advice: never go to this place!!!

noisy but thats kolkata. my room was a sanctuary.

ac, tv, good matress
My Stay at the diamond suites was good, I got all I asked for, but you do have to ask. Kolkata sleeps in late and stays up later and the dogs barking and horns blaring ate non stop.

terrible - don't waste your money - better options

dirty, rude staff, overpriced
this hotel shouldn't even be on agoda. the rooms shown on the site do not exist. hotel is dark, dirty (mothballs in the sink to keep back the bugs?...gross), staff is rude. the location on the agoda map is incorrect. i do not recommend this hotel at all, not even for a short stay. inconvenient location. zero stars.
