About Hotel Elysa Luxembourg

Description

There is a small 30-room boutique hotel which is named after the lovely Luxembourg gardens and has splendid murals and lovely art throughout the rooms. The building is a freestone structure where rooms either look out on to either the Gay Lussac street - which has lots of action - or the sedated and tranquil R. Collard Street. The owners have taken extraordinary care to match colors and tones in decorating the place, and the murals are remarkable. In particular, the shade of green is modeled after the tones of the gardens just down the street. Some terraces have views of the Eiffel Tower, some have views of the gardens, and from others, you can gaze down on the Parisian street life below.

Very good stay
Location, clean and comfortable room, nice and friendly staffs
We had great stay in this hotel. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. Bath tub & shower in the bathroom, and it was a big one too. Breakfast was good but needed to pay though. Lift is small, could fit 2 persons and a small buggy, but didn't bother us at all. Hotel is very near to Jardin du Luxembourg. We brought our toddler to the park every morning for a stroll. Plenty of restaurants nearby, so dining was not a problem. The hotel staffs were all very helpful and nice. Will stay here again next time.

Excellent location, safe neighborhood,
Excellent location, good price, friendly staff
The best part is the location. Safe neighborhood, clean, doesn't smell, cafe within 5 minutes walk, other attractions 10-20 minutes walk. I feel safe walk back to the hotel alone after the sunset, unlike other parts of Paris. Room is alright, not extremely clean but it's not dirty either. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice, comfortable and clean hotel in zone 1.
Close to metro, comfy bed and balcony
Very comfortable small hotel close to transport and centrally located. Especially loved the balcony, though there was construction work going on opposite but rooms are very quiet. Very nice comfy bed and good size bathroom with power shower. Would stay again.

Place, room, and strategic
All is ok, only little problem if you open window is noisy, because this hotel exactly on the big street, but if you close the window no more problem

not a bad choice but not excellent
good location near metro and luxembourg garden
it was not a bad stay at the hotel but we found hot water was not hot in the morning, which is not a big deal if the hotel staff cares enough to show their enthusiasm to solve the problem. Staff said if it's broken they will get it fixed on the next day as there are noone to help on Sunday. When we got back to the hotel in the evening, we were informed that there was nothing wrong with hot water without apologies or any offering or compensation. Apart from the hot water, one bedside lamp was not working all through the trip and lights at hallway did not work for a while on weekend. Location is good and very convenient to metro access and shopping area.

Fantastic Location. Average hotel for the price.
Location Location Location!!!
The hotel had a fantastic location. The room was small but clean. The air conditioning did not work for the first 3 nights and started on the last day. It was expensive for a 3* hotel but the location was extremely convenient.
