About Hotel Embassy

Located within a converted Umbertine palace, Hotel Embassy combines a unique setting with well-priced comfort and convenience. The hotel is a few steps away from Via Veneto and Villa Borghese, while other attractions such as the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are within easy walking distance. While the exterior of the building and common spaces maintain their classical design, all 42 rooms are refurbished in a contemporary style, complete with air conditioning, satellite TVs, and mini bars. A continental breakfast is served daily, and given the hotel's location, there are plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants close by.

Best location
Me and my friend traveled to Rome, and the hotel was right near Termini, at the republica station. It's very near everything. 5 minutes walk to termini, about 10 to piazza Venezia. And 10 to 15 minutes to Fontana do Trevi. It was a really clean hotel, great personal. They help you with anything question you have. Don't believe so much when people write "all the tourist attraction are far away". Because they are not, first night in 3 hours vi saw 3 attractions, Colosseum, Fontana do Trevi, Piazza Venezzia. I really recommend to get a map, make a list of what you want to see and then just walk around the city. If you are going to the Vatican, take the metro, it's takes like 5-10 minutes from termini.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The breakfast had good hot chocolate.
I would never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone. The room was not cleaned while we were there (four nights). The bathroom was moldy/mildewy. The bathroom was not cleaned while we were there. We complained one night about our sheets not being change. The response was that they are changed every two nights. We had been there for two nights. The room was literally only big enough for the bed. There was nowhere to lay our suitcases out and actually open them. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. It really put a damper on our stay in Rome to know that we had to go back to this hotel each night. It is not hear metro/buses or any of the sights in Rome. I am still really disappointed.

Great hotel for the price!
Centrally located, super-friendly staff, clean
The hotel is no 5-star, but it is very clean, and has a very nice atmosphere. The high-speed internet helped tremendously in my last minute planning for travelling. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall it is excellent value for money.
