Great location in Recoleta
central location,large rooms, good value, clean, free breakfast was decent

the hotel reception is very helpful and nice. they had no problem storing our luggage more than a day after checkout (we did a quick trip to iguacu falls). only ate breakfast there, didn't try the hotel restaurant because there are many good restaurants outside the hotel, all along a pedestrian walkway. this neighborhood feels the safest at night, however you must travel elsewhere (ie palermo) for more exciting night life. the sun deck over looks the cemetery, city and river, which is very beautiful and a little creepy. the rooms were very large and had all the basics, shower was a little worn but didn't bother me. best thing about rooms was the blackout curtains so you can fall asleep as the sun is coming up (typical for a night in ba) taxi's are easily accessible from this hotel, never waited more than 5 at any time. there's a good weekend market right there too.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat the pumpkin tortelloni at the Italian restaurant to the left when you exit the hotel (next to the Montana restaurant)

Again it was a very nice stay in this beautiful located hotel, the rooms were very big, clean, and beautiful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Location is perfect, no cars, in a park, in the opposite of the famous cemetery where e.g. Evita and Isabella Perron rest.

Es un muy buen hotel principalmente por su localización, si bien es un hotel 5 estrellas, su correcta categoria es un 4 estrella superior, comparadolo con los hoteles de 5 estrellas mas conocidos.
Pero son habitaciones amplias comodas, muy buena eleccion para la ciudad de bs as

Gunstig gelegen hotel
Het hotel ligt gunstig in Buenos Aires. Tegenover Recoleta begraafplaats. Terrasjes voor de deur en geen doorgaande weg. Geen verkeer dus.

Hotel Etoile is een prima hotel, centraal gelegen. De metro is niet direct in de buurt, zo'n 15 a 20 minuten lopen maar er zijn genoeg taxis. Wij hadden de grootste kamer en die was met recht super groot. Ontbijt was goed, service was in orde en het personeel behulpzaam en aardig. Voor de deur liggen leuke terrasjes. Internet in het hotel is gratis.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bezoek recoleta de begraafplaats waar o.a. Eva Peron begraven ligt. Dit ligt tegenover het hotel.

Fint hotell med tevlig personal
Bra pool, tevlig personal dygnet runt

Ett jättefint hotell som låg i centrala Recoleta som var omgivet av flera restaurangen som hade riktigt fin mat. Utelivet ligget ett stenkast från hotellet. Hotellet är väldigt centrallt ill det mesta.
