A good view of Annapruna, and friendly staffs

They are very kind.
I stayed there four days. The room of upper-left side has an especially decent view of Annapruna,Himaltree,Machapuchhre,Namjung Himal. What a kind and capable staffs, they are! They can give you all solutions when you want to do something in Phokara, Kathumandu. I could get a vest guide for my trekking to ABC and Poonhill from them, and they suggested a taxi on an excellent price for a sunrise and a panorama of Himalaya in the early morning at Sarangot. Bus tickets and a taxi for a sightseeing around Phokara were given by them. Only one thing unsatisfied was some worms which bit me on the bed every night. They shall be killed by the diligent staffs, when you arrived there. I'm sure.

Nice hotel, nice stuff... but so much Greedy staff

Nice bed, hot water, clean,location
Nice hotel, they gave me 5th floor room. Perfect view can be seen. however, due to cloudy and rainy day, Himalaya's covered by cloud :( Bed's are amazing, wifi speed was fluctuating, disconnecting... I had 2 nights booking here, when i asked for a bus to kathmandu, instead of showing way to get cheaper he tried to sell same mini bus ticket for higher price. Thanks to me that i have not bought it, so saved NPR 150 ;)

normal hotel

good location
as for me I'm always looking for hotel which is located most comfortable according to my needs. The rooms in this hotel of course not 5 star, but it was enough for me. I'm only sleeping in the hotel, all my day I'm watching the city. I'm not sure that this hotel is suitable for everybody, but if you need a place to sleep and take a shower you can use this one.

Pros & Cons

It's got value written all the way--there's value in your tiny room with decent aircon though the management changed the room we went to first as the AC was leaking. The TV is small (so what, you haven't come here to watch television). The staff is helpful with a perpetual smile--really adds to the charm of staying in here amid a cluster of low-budget hotels and guesthouses.
CONS: Well, they say the location is Lakeside. It's not exactly Lakeside--it's way inside from the lake and will not offer you a view of the lake from any of the rooms, though you'll be comforted with impressive views of Mt. Annapurna (Macchapuchare)from your balcony or loo depending on what room they've put you up in. The grub is ok and not like options that galore around you in this highly touristy enclave--you can chomp on anything from Korean to Newari. The Wi-fi won't work despite 3 passwords provided by the hotel staff--you need to come down to the lobby to surf on your laptop. Oh yes, apart from a leaking AC in the first we were shown, there's no lift in the 5-floor structure. Ensure you get a room on the first floor, if you have to stay. It's a nightmare otherwise.
