More than adequate but less than ideal

Location and staff
A cheaper stay than many overpriced places in the area, but still more than I would have liked to pay. Decent accommodation but would have preferred a bath for the price.

An absoloute gem - superb hotel, lovely staff

fantastic position in centre of city with courtyrd parking, lovely rooms and very helpful staff
the hotel is a mini chateau in the heart of this wonderful historical town. Everywhere is within walking distance and the staff are very helpful. On the day that we were leaving we were asked if we would like to leave our car in the courtyard whilst we wandered around. The rooms are quiet charming and it was a joyful experience to stay here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: the walk down by the port is superb especially if you can manage to catch the sunset which is just amazing as it sets over the Atlantic Ocean

Great location and lovely staff.

Restaurant Tip: you must absolutely try bistro la solette! 11 place de la fourche. it's a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. ask people for 'quartier saint-nicolas'. this restaurant is very small but nicely decorated. very colorful. food is awesome and not very expensive. they also have a wide selection of wines. no need to order a bottle, you can order by glasses. but i think the best about this place are the owners: get ready to be surprised!
