Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Not bad but not excellent

Staff very friendly and helpful, good location
The stay was good overall with friendly staff. However, the rooms feel old and overall feeling of the hotel is very old world and somewhat lonely.

Great Service helpful staff

Thoughtful and friendly staff
We arrived dragging our bags from the station, very tired and thirsty and were given a complimentary cold drink by the staff at reception while we booked in. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a good location from which to do sightseeing and museum tours of Florence on foot.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The Hotel is just a few steps away from the Akkademia and Michelangelo's 'David'.

Felt right at home!

Family like atmosphere, free breakfast, free internet
great hotel to stay in florence. staff made us feel like we were staying at their house instead of a hotel. greeted us warmly on arrival and quickly got us into our spacious rooms. rooms were large for the price with a very homey feel. free breakfast everyday was the right way to start the day with nice coffee or cappuccino made fresh instead of from instant coffee machines. asked staff to help make some reservations for tours for us and they were ready by time we came back to hotel that evening. was very pleasant experience and would not hesitate to come back on our next trip to florence.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: If tour is showing sold out for dates you want online. Ask the staff to call for you. Sometimes they are able to get reservations even though it shows full elsewhere.

The best hotel in our Europe trip

Service, Breakfast, and the owner!
We walked miles from Firenze Santa Novella station to the hotel, but it was worth it! We got a big room with the very clean and new bathroom. The breakfast they provided are quite plenty. There's choices of pastry and 2 alternatives for juice. Very cozy. The owner and staffs are super welcoming and willing to help on anything you would ask. It's very impressive. The internet is free though you have to pay 1 Euro for a registration. It was the law or something. The day we left, the owner kindly provided us a lift to the train station! We were really surprised!
Shopping Tip: If you go to Florence for shopping, I would suggest you to go to Space (Prada Outlet) and the Mall (multi-brands outlet) by yourself. It's very easy to get to both places and you can spend as much time as you want!
