Unsatisfied with dishonest hotel owner.

Location, quiet , cheap.
The hotel is very basic, you get what you pay for. Just to share with future guests, the owner is dishonest. We asked him to arrange a 4 wheel transport to the Peace Pagoda. Later I found out from the transport company that the fare was only 1,500 nrs. My agent tried to have the extra charges refunded but he refused saying that it is none of the agent's business. We will be going to Nepal again in December and for sure we WON'T go back to the Global Inn Hotel!!

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

It's just 2 mins walking from the Phewa Lake & 1 min's walk from the shops & restaurants. The view of the mountain ranges is spectacular from the bed. Its located in a peaceful neighborhood.
The hotel does not have many staff so don't expect prompt room service. The owner stays on the ground floor with his family, his wife cooks the food. The owner is very friendly and helpful and will help in arranging any trips, treks etc that you want to take. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay.

Great place in Pokhara

Clean, well-located, hot shower
There are a lot of places in Pokhara but I really enjoyed my stay at this one. They had hot showers, which is a rare occurence in Nepal, but it's also well located, and the rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me book activities quite easily.

We loved everything about our stay

Friendly staff, great location, low price
This was one of the best places we stayed in Nepal. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel so welcome and attended to. He helped us with our trekking questions and sorted out our permits. The hotel's location is ideal: down a quiet side street but right near Lakeside's best restaurants. The rooms are brand-new, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The showers have great water pressure, and power rarely goes out thanks to a generator. The breakfast is great, too. All in all, the perfect budget hotel: you feel like you're staying with friends.

nothing special

some rooms have 3 windows
The hotel has no indoor common space, our breakfast ('eggs and toast, would you like jam as well?') was served on the first floor balcony despite it being rather chilly in January. There was no hot or even warm water either during our stay, with the owner blaming the 'chinese guests upstairs' for it 'who probably did their laundry'. But we did not see any other guests at all. The room was clean and bright (3 windows) but since there are hotels being build all the way around, you will need to keep the curtains closed most times. The much mentioned view of the lake can be had only from the very top of the roof, and only until the next hotel is finished.
