Spa, location.
The room was very small with no view. The staff were not warm and it felt very rushed.

Lazy housekeeper

Bedsheet was not changed despite of obvious staining. Staffs were not helpful in helping to carry the luggages even after seeing us struggling with our 3 months old twins

Sleepless Night

Location, cleanliness and Desk staff (Excludes the Manager) see next question
During the whole of the night, an extremely loud compressor noise was heard in our room. We assumed it was coming from the Heat Pump/air conditioning unit. At one stage it was going off every 20 minutes and the total noise lasted for about 9 minutes. The actual noise was the motor gearing up to release with a loud bang, then the hiss of the air being released. When we checked the airconditioning unit in the morning it was not switched on so are not sure what was causing the noise and why it was so loud. By the time we realised this was not going to stop it was too late to ring reception and ask for our room to be changed. We had had an early flight from Auckland to Adelaide and wanted to pick up our rental car early the next morning. We were tired and expected a reasonable nights sleep. I cannot believe any Hotel would let a guest occupy a room with that noise. The Manager was aware of the problem but said our room had never had this problem before and it was due to the age of the Hotel and the drop in temperature. After we had eaten our Breakfast in the hotel cafe, the staff said there was no charge, because the hotel would pay, Cost approximately $30 if that! We were booked in for a night before flying home and we did get a different room with no noise. If we had not been picking up the rental car early the next day we would have cancelled that room and found a different hotel. From this experience we will definitely being looking at the age of hotels before we book. I have to ask again, how can your hotel put (tired) guests in a room with that noise?

Great location, but hotel a bit underwhelming.

Nice hotel, right in the middle of Adelaide. Close to the main attractions. Comfortable bedding and well sized rooms. Very basic hotel, would be good for the seasoned traveller if you're not expecting anything exciting.
