Good Hotel Bad Traffic
The hotel is situated in a nice area for views but the traffic noise was quite loud and disturbed my sleep even with curtains drawn. Also the bed was quite hard. The in house restaurant menu is very limited. The staff on general were very polite and friendly and helpful but some staff were rude and dismissive. The room was very spacious but aircon only goes down to 19c and becomes very stuffy. It would be nice to have a cracked open window to allow some fresh air in. Bathroom was good except shower was in bathtub and quite high to step over. The in- house room coffee Douw Egberts ( Yeech) needs to be changed to Moccona at least. Also a negative to charge customers $9 a night to park that's just damn rude. And be careful stepping out of elevators as slight incline you cannot see exiting elevator. I almost tripped over a few times. Overall I'd rate it at 7.

Fantastic location and spacious
Booked a mountain side twin room for our family of three (including an infant). Good that we had an extra bed cuz the baby cld sleep on her own bed. The mountain side view wasnt impressive and we cld feel cold air coming in through the windows making the area near the window quite chilly. Nevertheless, the spacious room, friendly service and fantastic location (10-15mins walk to Salamanca Market, 5mins walk to Woolworths supermarket, less than 5mins walk to many eateries) made up for it.
