Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great stay

Clean, affordable and wonderful
The staff were great and helpful- the hotel on the other hand, was brilliant as well, as it was near the sites and a good and affordable base to launch a discovery of Macau.

budget hotel

centrally located at the foot of Hill Guia
the room is clean but quite small by Macau's standard. the location is quite convenient but be aware that it is on the slope of Hill Guia. if you go in and out on foot, it may be quite tiring for elderly and kids. they provide free wifi, but very unstable and slow in the room that is not furnished with cable line. so it is almost impossible to use the internet to surf online in the room. the 'playmates night club' is located at the basement of this hotel, which is known for its 'adult performance'. so for those ladies and family travelling with kids, you may be surprised with so many men hanging round the club entrance at night. during the day, everything looks fine as normal. please also note that the Nestle instant coffee sachet provided in your room is not free at all! if you accidentally consumed it, they will charge you MOP 23 for two sachets. a nicely brewed coffee in a nearby restaurant is only MOP 10. by any chance you stay in this hotel, you should go to the rooftop garden to enjoy the city view.

Stay at Hotel Guia again

Location, Surrounding Environment, Price
It is worth to stay because of affordable price, quiet environment. And most of staff can speak Mandarin, English (but not Japanese), so it is easy to communicate with them.

a wonderful stay out of from the casinos

quiet, mountain top, cosy stay
a good stay, although quite a long walk up the slope... it is safe to walk anyways. definitely will stay there again if the price is low.

Enjoyed very much, thank you.

Location and price.
The hotel is located at the foothill of Guia lighthouse, so basically, its great for lighthouse fans. Its not too far from public transport, not that Macau city is that big, we basically covered most of the places on foot. Its a nice hotel with good view if you go to the rooftop, which there is a small bar. There's free transport to send you to the ferry terminal each day for you to move around especially to Taipa casinos. A good pleasant stay in a nice little hotel.

Close to cultural attraction, good value for money

Free wifi, clean and confortable enviroment.
Good experience staying in Hotel Guia. Staff were very nice and good housekeeping. Quite environment and lots of tourist attractions within walking distance(if you really enjoy walking), 15min to Lisboa Casino. Few minutes walk to wet market and you can get lots of nice local food there.

relax, nice weather & nice shopping.

nice view, clean & fresh air.
there's a balcony which can view most of macau. there's a wide variety of channel to watch on television.the bed is also very comfortable and clean. there's also huge mirror in the toilet to check on yourself before going out. however, the coffee packet is not complementary which is for many hotels. for deposit, paying cash is better as for credit card, money will only be transferred back in two weeks time.
