Sleep ruined by noise from a nearby wedding party

The rooms had charm, with hand stencilled ceilings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good, 15 minutes walk from the fort. I would have marked the place higher had my sleep not been ruined by noise from a nearby wedding hall which went on until 3am. The management should take action with the civic authorities to ensure that such functions end at a reasonable time.

Basic hotel suitable for a short stay

Very cheap, dinner was great.
The Harasar Haveli is a basic 2 star hotel, with clean large rooms and bathrooms, and well lit. The location did involve us to drive to the monuments - therefore would recommend staying here only if you have a driver or tour bus. The rooms did not come with heating, so it was slightly chilly - however this was manageable even though we were there in the colder part of the year. Location next to some domestic homes meant it was a little noisy - the train and mooing cows woke us up a few times in the night.

Do not go there. It is horrible and nothing like they claim. It is a scam.

could have stayed longer

alfresco dining,
Coming by road by motorcycle i found the hotel hard to locate as google maps had positioned it on the opposite side of the road and the nameboard was obscured by a tall vehicle. Otherwise stay was fine, guests should note that some rooms do not have windows. I particularly liked the restaurant although food was average

Good quality hotel in Bikaner

Large rooms, history and mint tea
This was a good value hotel, new but in haveli style. Our room was huge with a 4 poster bed, sofa and large bathroom, and it was clean too. There are nice outdoor spaces to sit too. Our room was very colonial though - I'm a vegetarian and the walls were full of dead animal heads and skins which made me a bit uncomfortable, but if that doesn't bother you, then it'll be fine for you. Breakfast was mediocre but for the price, that doesn't really worry me. Overall, this was a good hotel and good value.
