Quiet and friendly
Very friendly staff, fast wifi, get more than you pay for with this little gem :) for the price of Tokyo hotels you can't complain.

Location! Location! Location!
The two biggest selling points of the Hotel Horidome Villa are price (we paid around $80 AUD a night) and location (it's a mere 15 minute stroll to the heart of Akihabara and very close to many other tourist hotspots). If you're just visiting to see the main sights then you can easily walk to Akiharabara in the mornings, tour around the main areas of Tokyo on the JR Yamanote line and never worry about the sometimes confusing myriad of Tokyo train/subway lines. It's also smack bang in the middle of two convenient train stations: Kodemmacho and Ningyocho. When coming from Kodemmacho walk down the road towards Coco's Curry House (look for a bright yellow sign). The hotel is about a 5 minute walk on the right. When coming from Ningyocho walk towards McDonalds and Starbucks and you'll find the hotel about five minutes down on the left. The rooms are indeed small but no smaller than what you'd typically expect to find in a budget hotel in Tokyo (they're generally pretty cookie cutter). We travel quite heavy (with both large and smaller suitcases each plus small bags) and with some creative rearranging we easily managed to store our bags near the window (and under the bed) giving us space to move around freely. It was still a tad cramped but not unforgivably so. The hotel features all the normal amenities: robes, slippers, tea and coffee making facilities, a bar fridge, air conditioner, large bath/shower, toiletries and a TV (D-Life is the only always English Channel, first press the BS button and then the middle button on the very top of the remote to change the language to English). There are also laundry facilities on the 4th and 6th floors. The beds are VERY hard but I actually found them incredibly comfortable. It is something to keep in mind though if you're particularly used to a soft mattress. In the morning, between 6am and 12pm, the hotel lobby offers free DIY coffee that, while no premium blend, is a pleasant pick me up. There is also a iPad in the lobby for

Cheap, Near to Subway, Safe place to store luggage ahead of time
if you come early and you can drop your luggage here few days ahead. It save me a lot of money rather than using coin locker. Staff able to talk engrish and room very clean & comfortable for couple. Near to subway and most importantly very cheap
