A peaceful stay

Location, peace, comfort
Hotel Iris was a lovely stay with canal views and ease of access to transport. The hotel is small and the stairways are very steep. We had a room on the main floor which meant there was a bit of noise but not too much. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very small but still satisfactory. Service was fantastic!

Holidaying fun

the food, the location.
The room was ridiculously small!!! With a baby, I could barely fit my foldable stroller on top of our luggages. We could barely walk ard.

Run down, unclean hotel

Powerful shower
Very very disappointed with this Hotel. Was not cheap nor expensive however you went to Hotel Iris and then had to be redirected to Hotel Max a block away to check-in, and then head back to Hotel Iris. Hospitality was awful and the towels all had old dirty marks on them. We were on the top level and had to climb 4 flights of thin stairways to get to the top. The only positive thing about it was that it had a large LCD TV... that was it.

Nice hotel right on a canal

Quiet, nice rooms
after the initial freak out about how far it seemed away from the main city center we realized that it really was only a 15-20 minute walk. we also got the city pass so we had access to the tram as we needed but did prefer to walk into the center each day and take the tram back when tired. very quiet and good sized clean rooms. check in and out is still located at hotel max but they do now have breakfast at iris.

My adorable new home

Great canal views from the room. English speaking television channels. It was clean. Very friendly staff with included breakfast.
I really liked this hotel. The view out the window was a lovely touch. It was clean and sweet. We enjoyed having an included breakfast, despite having to walk to Hotel Max for it. There were places to eat nearby and we were thankful for the vending machines in the hallway.

Iris biking in Amsterdam

It was clean and close to a market and many restaurents. It was quiet and we slept very well.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel it was a good price for what we received, the breakfast was simple but a good easy start for the day. You need to check in and eat at hotel Max but it is very close. We rented bikes for the week and this is the way to go. If you are walking this hotel is a little far from the station central but there are trams and buses nearby.

Prima hotel

Locatie, tuin, gastvriendelijk
Top, enige minpunt is het parkeren van de auto. Deze moet ver weg geparkeerd worden. Tezamen met je tas/koffer is dit niet erg handig.
