Great location, good breakfast
Very suitable for our visit, nice staff and pleasant room. Beds were excellent. Bathroom and floors were a bit dated. All in all, a nice stay.

Stay At the Kung Carl Hotel Stockholm
Dear Agoda team, We had a wonderful time. The Hotel is beautiful and one of the oldest in Stockholm celebrating 150 years this year. From the moment of arrival till our departure we loved our stay. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was spacious , beautiful laid out had everything what we required and very comfortable beds. The bathroom again was spacious , clean nicely tiled and totally adequate for our needs. We loved it . The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful . Again the breakfast room was nicely laid out and very welcoming and homely. My friend and I loved it. It was self service and one could eat as much as one desired. We are vegetarian and myself don't have dairy products either but the Hotel catered for this as well. It was wonderful . We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and feel free to pass our comments to the Kung Carl. Please tell them about the Receptionist Daniela and the young man who's name unfortunately can not remember. If I should return to this wonderful city one day I definitely would love to stay there again. Kind regards Christiane Marlen

Good location.
Generally Ok. Good location. Staff is friendly, but better if more inform on Mini/Day tour, place of interest options. ( perhaps is just Baltic region , hotels don't provide Toothbrush and not so into tour package ) Also there is stairs you need to climb even though with lifts around.( especially now they having renovation ) So for the heavy luggage and older people may find it a bit troublesome.

The hotel is not as good as it seems. A lot of different internal buildings/access with uncomfortable stairs for someone carrying a luggage, the rooms do not have a standard (i.g.: some rooms have a very bathroom and others have a good size). On top of that, I was unlucky to be there while there was a refurbishment going on. Another very big issue that all the other guests were also bothered about: there is a huge noise of clubs and bars at night. The hotel even provide a noise canceling foam for each guest as airlines does.
