Frequent visitor to QC. On way to skiing.

Bsrt one thing is Boulay Restaurant which is attached and it 3 toques!
Hotel met expectations. It was fine in all respects. Access directly to the old town is mandatory and this hotel is convenient. Good friendly, bilingual and competent staff. The real standout is the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It is fabulous. Not enough superlatives. Best restaurant in several years including several trips to France and Italy in last 3 years. Food to go back for and exceptional service. The hotel could have given me an unheated room with a cot and I would not have complained after dinner at Boulay

Close to attractions, restaurant & bar.

Friendly staff, Centrally located and Clean room.
The room is a little bid small than I thought however it was clean. The hotel located is easy to get around the city.

Lovely room. Great location.

Hotel was excellent. Large room with full bathroom. Bedside Lighting could be improved as difficult to read in bed. Also difficult to charge phone etc because not enough points- some of which turn off when lights are turned off!! Good wifi and good lifts! Great ambience! Foyer pleasant- restaurant good - interesting and diverse choice. Location! Location! Location!
Travel tip: Excellent tourist information centre quite close ! Start there! Great advice!

Great hotel with perfect location

Great location, clean and comfortable hotel, friendly staffs
We stayed only 1 night here for business visit. We were lucky enought to joint the Quebec Festival on the day we stay. The hotel was just a few steps to the walking street, where most of the activities of the Quebec Festival happened. It was amazing fun.
Restaurant Tip: You can find a lot of good restaurants within the walking distance from the hotel, nothing to complain about the foods.

Fantastic Hotel

Location Location Location, Comfort, service excellent, Internet.
Definitely the hotel that I will come back when I go back to Quebec and visit. It is accessible to anywhere and you do not need a taxi. The moment you go out it's already downtown. The bed is very comfortable and the wireless internet is fast. Service is great as well and people re very helpful. Had quite a memorable stay.

right in the thick of it

fabulous location for a first visit to Quebec City or if the old part of the city is mainly what you are after. Staff were great - efficient, helpful and very convivial
We enjoyed this hotel as it was two steps from the main street within the walled city and the atmosphere was good. Neither of us were very impressed with the breakfast but a cab fare up the the food mecca of the Grand Allee was only about $8 , June 09. Taxi fare to one of the closest large shopping malls was about $20. Shopping is very good for a town this size, there are stores for all price ranges and the artistic work of all kinds is fabulous. This is a town which you can cover effectively on foot but perhaps not in February when they have their ice festival. All up, the Manoir was good. Location makes a great deal of difference especially when you are on foot.
Restaurant Tip: there are many fabulous restaurants in Quebec City - ask the locals for their tips around where you are staying.
