Great view, nice stay!
This was an amazing little ryokan in Moto-Hakone! We had a great view of he lake! We got the dinner to our room which was a ton of fun and then ended up hanging out in the onsen for a few hours. Breakfast wasn't worth it, we could have had something tastier out in town. But the service was amazing, they gave us free postcards and then let me send it from the ryokan! Absolutely amazing stay!!

Fantastic stay at traditional Japanese Ryokan
It's a wonderful stay. The staff are very accommodating, polite and professional. We were so satisfied with their service. The set-meal dinner is particularly awesome. It indeed is astronomical in price but given the size, large variety and quality it's definitely worth ordering.

Superb service that saved my trip
People, service, location
The view to the lake was awesome but what was the best is the service. That night happened to be heavily snowed and I was stuck at a spa with the local bus and taxi service choosing not to send me to the hotel as the nearest route had been banished. At the last resort I called the hotel and to my astonishment they actually sent someone to picked me up. The whole drive took him probably 3 hours and we were extremely grateful otherwise I would have spent the night on spa. Superb service. Some things it's through incidents like this that made your trip a great one!

Everything is perfect!
The hotel just few steps away from Motohakone boat and bus station. The onsen and open air onsen is marvelous. The half board dinner and japanese style breakfast included also super nice. The staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel is spotless clean. We like everything of this hotel and would definately be back again!

good location
location / view / onsen
all good except the isolation of the windows facing the lake in case of strong cold wind. this impacted the heating of the room n took a while to warm up. breakfast is a must but avoid dinner as prices are a little bit on the high side. bear in mind all restaurants in the neighbourhood close very early (0730pm) but overall good stay and love the traditional futson beds, a must try while in Japan!
