Will not choose to stay again

Approximity to the beach and to the public transportation, view to the ocean, no-carpet floor

Breakfast quality was like a cheep $10 buffet. Too much tour groups. Feels like a cheap tourist hotel. Bed matress was old and too soft. Bathroom mirror is attached too high that only tall people can enjoy the mirror. As asian with 167cm hight, I could only see my head. Seriously.... who mounted that mirror??

Best place for a fond farewell to fab holiday

Panoramic sea view, comfortable bed, spacious room, excellent staff at all levels, free internet, beautiful location

Panoramic sea view, comfortable bed, spacious room, excellent staff at all levels, free internet, beautiful location. We chose this for a bit of a luxury treat on our last night in southern Dalmatia after travelling around the region for two weeks and were rewarded with a place we would dearly like to go back to for a longer stay. The big, grey-haired man on the desk, whose name I've sadly forgotten, was particularly good: highly professional and couldn't do enough for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Walk the cliff path towards lapad Beach, stopping off en route for a cliffside drink or meal.

Neptun Hotel

Location, rooms, views, public transport, food

The Neptun Hotel was a fantastic venue and was once of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our trip. The location and views were spectacular. We enjoyed uninterrupted views of the Adriatic sea from our balcony. The food was very nice and we ate at the hotel for the majority of our meals. The staff were very friendly and even organised a breakfast on our final boarding that we took, even though we left the hotel at 4.30am. And public transport was very efficient, with buses running every 15 minutes.
Hotel Feature Tip: Take a dip in the Adriatic, even though it was a little chilly!

Neptun - Good Hotel

Breakfast. Views from rooms. Helpful staff.
7.3
Checked in after 2 but had to wait 10 minutes as room had not been cleaned. Some people had been waiting since 12. Virtually all rooms had sea view. Breakfast was excellent with the widest selection I had seen in 5 weeks of travelling and the views from the outside terrace were stunning. Staff at reception helped with advice on how to use local transport and arranged taxi for me to Bus Station at end of stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: One of the first things to do is get a 24 hour bus ticket from the kiosk outside the main entrance to the Old Town - good value for money and you can travel to and from hotel not having to worry about change for the bus!
