Fantastic balance of everything
I stayed here for a week in July 2016. Staff were welcoming, spoke great english and provided assistance whenever necessary. Room was small, but was clean and had everything needed. Location was great. Near a subway exit, plenty of food places around. The two subway lines it was on, also serviced the majority of places I visited directly. Akihabara is a nice walk through an upmarket suburb, with a large shopping centre, fine dining restaurants and a strip with global fashion brands. The subway lines also included trains to the airports (Narita and Haneda). Approx ¥1,200 for effectively a door-to-door (~75? minutes) local train service made things so much simpler!

Nice hotel
Despite the fact that we have to carry our luggages up and down the stair case in order to get to the reception, Nihonbashi Saibo is a great hotel. It's only 5 mins walk from Ningyocho station. Though this station is not Tokyo station but it quite convenient to go everywhere as the station is small so we dont have to run too much to find train.

About 10 mins straight walk from Ningyocho Station - Keikyu Line. If you are coming from Haneda Airport will be very convenience. Little choices of restaurant along the way. But OK for us. Room size consider small.

Great Hotel
Friendly and helpful staff, bicycles available for hire. Very clean, all the little extras you need. Area is quiet for a tourist, but the Metro is very close. would go back there again, just next time would probably stay in a different area.

Great service
Downsides: we had a really hard time finding it from Tokyo station when we first arrived. And are all beds in Japan so firm? But once we learned how to navigate the subway, the location was okay. Raves: so many little extras in our room-- charging cords, toothbrush, slippers and robe, tea of course, and the fridge is handy, blackout curtains and quiet room helped sleep. Oh, and free laundry, bless them! Room is cozy like everything in Tokyo, but enough room for luggage, and a little closet helped. Overall, well cared for.
