For exploring Seattle there are plenty of options; head over to the Gas Works Park for a nice little trip by the water and watch the planes ski down over the waterfront, check out the historic Rock Museum, or relax and unwind in Queen Anne. For dining options the area offers plenty of little cafes and restaurants. Take a drive over to Fremont and try out some of the theme restaurants and have a look at the historic Lenin statue. Really really run down

Cost, Location, nope just 2 good things
Stay was ok. I was pretty apprehensive and, luckily, able to sleep elsewhere the first night. Super run down. Really seems like an SRO hotel. Other than really cheap soap and a small shampoo (old school motel style), there are NO amenities. No hook for a towel, no place to set your toiletries. Nada. Nothing.

Very cold and old.

Near from Downtown/ Quiet/ Relatively cheaper
Not good. Heater and shower tool were out of order.
Ning Z. Business travelers China, October 29, 2012
horrible place

noisy, old, simple,
no hot water, small space, old bed and furniture, hadly watch TV
Guoqiong J. Families with older children China, September 10, 2012
surprisingly inconvenient

breakfast is ok
there is a stair in the front door of this hotel which means that we had to lift up all our luggages on to the floor, no ramps! room service sucks too, one day when we got back and find out that the maid didn't leave enough towels and when we asked the receptionist, she told us the maid is off the work. it was only about 8pm.
Restaurant Tip: There's a Chinese buffet called 'Worldfresh' nearby. Probably on 3rd Avenue.

You get what you pay for...

Reasonable rate. Fairly clean. Great location.
Very old and a little run down. Service is minimal, but good price and great location. If you just about a bed and shower then a good deal. Also, the shower was hot and cold.

“great service, comfortable rooms, easy stay.”

Hotel Seattle

Great location in heart of Seattle
Hotel Seattle is a historic building located in downtown Seattle. If your goal is to spend your time out of your room experiencing Seattle, this hotel will work for you. Our small minimally decorated room was clean-- sheets, floors, bathroom. The lobby was clean and welcoming. The day and evening staff polite and helpful. Our focus was seeing Seattle, not the hotel room. We were only in the room to sleep-- we didn't need WiFi or tv; just a clean bed and shower which is what was provided. We wanted an inexpensive clean/quiet place to sleep in the heart of Seattle-- Hotel Seattle met this need. There are places to eat near the hotel and for you coffee drinkers-- there is a Star Bucks next door!

great location in a cosy neighbourhd near pike plc

walking distance to pike place market!
the room was abit small (not enought space for 2 large cargo bags as we were on honeymoon!). the hotel was very convenient to most cafes/restaurants/grocery stores & best of all, was about 10-15min walk to pike place market. comfy bed & pillows!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: pike place market & the mass of coffee cafeterias along the neighbouring streets & check out the 1st starbucks at the market itself near pine street! also, a must is the pike place brewery for awesome pub food & beer!

Overpriced and poorly maintained

The hotel is located conveniently nearby University station, where the light rail station is, and it's not too far to walk to downtown. The front desk staff was nice and he was trying to help, however, he didn't give the correct detail information just like when we asked if we could print our boarding passes he referred us to the nearby library (because they don't have business ctr) and we were unable to print because we weren't members of Seattle library, for such a high price, I will expect more than location for this hotel, no breakfast, no business center, everywhere in the hotel (lobby, corridor, rooms) are outdated and small, the sink inside the bathroom was tiny and shaky like it was about falling off. I paid almost $100 for this type of hotel and luckily we only stayed 1 night in Seattle, next time when we go to Seattle, we would rather stay in hostel nearby the area, where is much cheaper, newer and look much better than this hotel.

Fantastic location

Bernards for breakfast. Very Cheap & lovely choice. Many friends from nearby more expensive hotels came here for breakfast.
Hotel itself is clean & adequate BUT service was non existant to the extent we didn´t even get replies why other rooms had TV & we didn´t- for 10 days. And the World Cup was on! Weren´t told when booked in TV was out, weren´t offered another room, no apology,no discount. Had to ask for a radio. Man on days was all but this side of rude ´cause I asked daily when it would be fixed & as I said no reply.Foyer had old furniture but more period than old, but nice. But location great.Walked to everything & I´m not a walker.
Restaurant Tip: Thououghly recomend The Crab Pot for dinner- great view, food & atmosphere. Bibs. They tip the seafood into the centre of the table then you use the wodden mallet to crack the crab & scraps go in the bowel under the table.
