Excellent value
What a find! The hotel was incredibly clean with a renovated bath and had all the amenities you could ask for. The staff was welcoming and attentive and the small garden was a nice surprise. The area of the hotel is quiet, which was a surprise as it is close to the termini, with some restaurants, a supermarket and the hotel location is perfect between 2 metro stops. I strongly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in several hotels in Rome and I can say hotel select is by far the best.

Small hotel on a narrow street
Friendly and english speaking receptionist
The hotel is about 3 and a half block away from the train terminal. Even though it took less than 10 minutes to walk to the hotel but it seems far to us because we had to walk on an uneven narrow sidewalk and because it was raining the day we arrived. The hotel was small and there was no elevator. The clerk carried our luggages upstair for us. We arrived early in the morning and the hotel gave us the room right away. The room was big. It has two beds. The bathroom sink did not work but we managed to do without it. The breakfast was adequate. It had juices, coffee, ham, cheese, salami, cereal, croissant and bread. Overall, it was a pleasant staya.

Terrible service
nothing
Hotel Select is too bad to stay there. Receptionists are unkind and didn't care what we asked. The room was what they used before, and there were so many problems about bath tub and washstanding drainage. Extra bed was so bad and couldn't sleep well. They didn't tell us city tax when we checked in, and they didn't get credit card for that. And furthermore they didn't tell us their service fee about tea. When we asked hot water, they gave us tea pot with black tea. That was 2 euros. Their service was too bad and terrible. I don't recommend that hotel.

just acceptable
near to the termini station
just acceptable standard. taxi diver tried to get double amount and complained to hotel manager for my disagreement. then the hotel manager did not difend me, but kept just quiet. The cost was rather expensive if compare with the level at the same rate with others.

Prime location but tiny single rooms
Friendly staff and quiet place despite its central location
Hotel Select is a mere 10 minutes'walk from Rome Termini (Central Station). It has a pleasant patio with table for breakfast. Double rooms are ok. But single rooms opening on the garden are really small with only one glass door. However, they contain all commodities: A/C, mini fridge, safe-deposit box, cupboard, flat screen TV. The ensuite bathroom is truly tiny. It is a wonder how they still managed to have a shower-cabin, a washbasin, a toilet and even a bidet! Breakfast is fine except for the coffee-macine that provides a tasteless coffee. Knowing that Italy is best known for its coffee, this is quite a disappointment. They also provide one kind of tea (English breakfast). Apart from that, it was a good place to stay to enjoy Rome.

Nice hotel on excellent lobation
Service, location, quiet.
Nice hotel with excellent service on a very convenient location (walking distance from Termini in a good neighbourhood). We had a room overlooking the garden-terrace: quiet, but small. Bathroom was very small and could cause problems for obese people. Good beds and airconditioned. Breakfast was sufficient, which means good in Rome. Overall to be recommended, but large or obese people should ask for a room with a larger bathroom (if they have any). There are some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood!

Convenient location, close to Termini train station
