A good hotel in Brickfields, KL
Hotel Sentral stands tall (literally) among the many medium cost hotels that dot Brickfields near KL central. I was looking for a reasonably priced overnight accommodation and saw this hotel was offering a very good rate. I was happy with my decision when I checked in. My room was on the 15th - the top - floor offering a scenic view of the city, with an openable window. The room was a bit larger than the other medium budget hotels, with a high ceiling. All basic amenities were provided - toiletries, fridge, tea/coffee maker, wardrobe with hangers, free wi-fi, clean linen, comfortable beds. Corridors leading to the rooms are a zig-zag and a bit congested, but may be the building layout left more space for the rooms which is in way good. Overall a good experience.

very good location, 5mins walking to KL central and next to the KL monorail the room is simple and clean, just not as cozy as on the photo check-in was efficient so great stay for convenience

Cleanliness
The bed sheet is dirty. You have to look the bottom bed sheet which they cover. It's really not satisfaction.

Close to KL Sentral, food stores, no emailcommunication, worth to stay
The customer service was quite not supportive after we had booked a room there. Compared with another guest house which is only 1-star rating but they answered every email which had been sent to them. Back to the hotel, the day we came, we had to use an online map to find a route to get there and we had to wait 30 mins because there were 3-4 guests checking in but only one receptionist was working. The 2nd annoying was we clearly booked a queen/double room (no window) but they upgraded us to a room with window and ironically, 2 single beds because the room we booked was fully checked in. So we decided to sleep on one single bed. It was too hard to sleep. They even didn't have thongs to wear inside the room. :)) Except the communication and the room, we were happy with the room facilities, location is very close to KL sentral which was the center of every routes of transportation. You can also easily get full of stomache by walking to the mall linking to the KL Sentral. If I come back to KL, I may choose to stay here again.

Old hotel with unfriendly staffs
Hotel Sentral's location is very convenient near KL Sentral Station, especially as we need to go to KLIA at 5am. That's it. But now there are a number of new hotels opens in the area with similar price range so definitely will try another options. Staffs at the reception was unfriendly. When i came to check-in, she just said "not yet 2pm, cannot check-in" without offering to store my luggage etc. When finally i checked-in (at 2pm), the room was different with the one i booked. I booked for the Xpress room, but she "free upgrade" me into superior room. I did not like the superior room as it is outdated and old room. I booked double bed, i got twin bed (when i asked her for double bed, she just said "no double bed" - and this was after i queue for about 15 mins at reception. Oh yes the reception is very busy and you need to queue for even simple question). And it's not only me who had problems with bookings as i knew one person was having quarrel with the staffs about his bookings and the other guests also got wrong room. So i think this was the last time i stayed here after many years keep returning to this hotel. I will try some new hotels next time.
