Was good enough for a couple of days in New Delhi!
The location is not the best. I had to book this for my friends from Germany who travelling to the New Delhi for my wedding. I expected it to be a bit better, but nevertheless was fine for a couple of days for my friends.

Average hotel, substandard service
Good function venue, decent food and competitively priced.
Spent 3 nights here for a friends' wedding that took place in the hotels function centre on the ground floor. Rooms are of a good size, with functioning A/C, large bathroom and great shower. One thing to note is that the bedding (blankets etc) was dirty. This was not just an isolated incident as other people we met had the same problem as us. Looks like House Keeping and Management have some serious work to do in rectifying what appears to be a systemic issue. The quality of room service and food from the restaurant were of a high standard, albeit slightly pricey for the part of Delhi we were in. This hotel is not known to taxi drivers and it is recommended that the driver speaks with Reception prior to commencing any trip from the airport (or anywhere for that matter). The phone number provided on the Hotel voucher did not work but Reception confirmed it was correct. Overall the hotel is Average, and I say that as the price is pretty competitive if you need to be in this part of New Delhi. An acceptable stay was tarnished at the very end by the young male at Reception, whose behaviour could only be described as underhanded and dishonest when we tried to book a taxi for the airport. I requested the hotel to hail me a taxi to the airport, specifically requesting it to be one off the street and where the fare would be determined by the meter. The male at Reception advised that the taxi had arrived and after placing our luggage and sitting down we realised there was no meter and this was a private arrangement. The driver stated that the hotel had said we would pay a flat 1000 rupees as our fare. This was news to us as the prepaid fare from the airport to the hotel upon arrival had only 400 rupees! With a flight to catch and time being precious, it wasn't worth making a big fuss about; something Reception is clearly aware of. This type of deceit, lack of transparency and accountability is not good business and disappointing.

Location, rooms and staff.
Stay was good. But, food was a bit expensive. Even a Rs.18/- Bisleri bottle was charged at Rs.90/- when I ordered for room service. The bill reflected the price as Rs.69/- + 10% service tax and 20% VAT.
