Not a good choice
Smelly bathroom. Seem like they hadn't clean it for the new customer. Also, its not that close to JR station. Bad choice. I wouldn't go there again for sure

Onsen next door
The onsen across the road is good for ¥600. Bring your own towel and hand towel.

First bad experience in 5 trips to Japan
This is my first bad review for a place in Japan. The hotel itself is conveniently located, and the rooms themselves are small, non-descript business hotel places. When I arrived, I explained my friend couldn't come. We'd booked a twin share. Since it was prepaid, they explained there could be no refund. So far, everything is normal. However, when I went to the room I found they had put me in a tiny single. When I went downstairs and asked for the twin single I'd paid for, there was lots of muttering among the staff. Then, one of the staff began to questin me aggressively. Had I slept in the bed? Had I used the bathroom? What had I done in the room? At this point I just walked away. Maybe there was a misunderstanding, but to get the room you paid for seems a basic to me. There was no apology or explanation given at any point, so I definitely would not recommend this hotel or its staff.
