Friendly staff, convenient location
Staff are very helpful and friendly. Great location for visitors who like shopping. Like other typical Japanese hotels, room is a bit small, but very clean.

Central
Central location, a little older than the others, not as sound proof as one would have hoped for. Staff interactions were minimal. Overall, an above average experience largely due to convenience of location.

Backpacker style accomadation in a good location
Location, price, free breakfast
Hotel is in a really great location but thats about all they have to offer. very small room which wasnt very clean, very dusty around the bed, headboard and locker. floor needed hovered. bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good as you got eggs and toast and tea. no cereal or fruit, only japaense style meatballs and noodles etc. on our 2nd day we arrived for breakfast at 9.05am. it finished at 9.30am. The person infront of me took the last slice of bread for toast. I asked the lady working inthe breakfast room for bread. She had no english and I had no janepse but it wasnt hard to understand that point at the empty bread meant I wanted more, she shook her head so I thought she had went to get more. After standing ten mins waiting and two more attempts of asking for bread I went to reception and asked them for bread only to be told that they were sold out, they couldnt even help me to direct me to a nearby shop. So I had to run around the streets looking for a bakery to get bread to get back to the hotel and toast it before she unplugged the toaster at 9.30am sharp as she had done the previous day. I wouldnt mind if we were late for breakfast but we weren't.To make the situation worse at 9.35 she comes out with a basket full of bread and sits it on our table beside the loaf I just bought saying bread bread bread to me. On our final morning we went down for breakfast and then went up to pack, checkout was at 11. we tried to get a late checkout as our flight to Ireland was at 12 that night but they were fully booked which was fair enough, but the receptionist knew this as we asked him about the late check out. The phone in our room banging ringing at 11.05am, 5 mins after the checkout time, he called the phone on 5 occasions before coming knocking on our door at 11.20am to tell us to leave. The staff in this hotel are rude, unhelpful, unprofessional and would put travellers off staying.

Location really strategic & convenient. It's next to Shinsaibashi shopping arcade however the hotel is very quiet. Massage chair is a plus in our room especially after long day walks. Hotel also serves simple/ basic buffet breakfast.
