Super awesome location!

Located in the middle of shinsaibashi
Thie hotel is so close to everything...you literally walk out the front door and your in the hussle and bussle of shinsaibashi! there is a million bars and restaurants in shinsaibashi and heaps and heaps of shops that just keep going as far as the eye can see. Hotel rooms are quite small but they arent to bad.

comfortable, value for money

large bathroom, clean, affordable
Clean and comfy, I think it is a new hotel. There is a large local mart just across a small street offering affordable stuff, that was a big plus for us. The only bad thing was that it was quite a distance from the main Shinjuku station.

Touch of Retro in good location

Touch of '70s wallpaper in crisp room plus big bathroom
good location right near shinjuku so close to restaurants and some funky bars.'akira' look-alike boys are part of the scene of shinjuku - a cross between anime character and spooker. the hotel is small and neat without being a squeeze. the rooms are a good size for japan hotels (which can be tiny). the bathroom is large with a deep bath. staff are helpful and the hotel functions mega smoothly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Shinjuku is a mecca for Akira look-alike boys - a cross between anime character and tout for restaurant, bars etc.

Enlightening Hotel

Conditionally New
Distance wise- It is relatively close to Shinjuku JR station(East Part), approximately 10mins walk provided you walk the correct path. Size- The size of the room is okay while I am satisfied with the size of the bathroom. Pretty big and clean. Nightlife- The street comes alive at night Breakfast- So so.

Typical Japanese hotel with small room size

Lots of resturants and convenience shops around.
A little bit far from station but with lots of resturants nearby. Room size is relatively small but bathroom is considered ok. Breakfast is included but not very good and is only delivered to your room.

Great hotel in Shinjuku

Great location and fantastic rooms. Lots of space for a Tokyo hotel. Very fresh and modern looking. Staff mostly friendly.
The location is very nice, about ten minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Staff was mostly very polite and helpful, except for one time over the phone, probably due to language barrier. The breakfast is not worth getting up for if you are a late sleeper. It is a very small sandwich sent to your room, no restaurant. You might as well pick one up from a family mart nearby. The rooms are quite big for Tokyo hotels, and look very nice and well maintained. Bathroom with spacious shower and bathtub.

Great location and funky rooms

location, decor
Don't bother with the breakfast!! The location is perfect and don't believe any reviews that think the area is 'unsafe'. The bed is very comfortable although, as it goes in Japan, the rooms are a bit small. The bathrooms are HUGE and very enjoyable. Unfortunately there is no Wi-fi in the rooms, only in the lobby which is quite frustrating.

Clean, good location

It's the cleanest hotel I stayed at, bit overpriced, Great location, no wifi in the rooms, wifi in lobby but nowhere to sit really.

Clean, well located hotel

Well located
The hotel is just 10-15 minutes away from Shinjuku train station, where it is easy to go everywhere in Tokyo. It is close as well to the bus company that takes you to the 5th station of Mount Fuji. The Shinjuku area even if it is know as the "Red light district" of Tokyo has nothing in common with those districts in for example Europe. A really safe area, where people in Tokyo goes to Karaokes and for dinner with dozens of restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
