fresh air and quiet sea front location

This was a nice sea view location with fresh air. There is a small beach with sand and you can swim when the tide is in. There is a nice pier to walk along. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was ok but nothing special. Dive shop on site if you are into that. Nice pool and reasonable room. The whole place is like many of the older 3* resorts in the philippines - run down - untidy, in need of paint and repairs.Also there was karioke - good if you like it but a pain for guests who want to sleep early.

the staff are friendly but if you want to go outside the hotel it is soo far from anywhere and the hotel policy is such that they want you to only use there vehicle and they don't want to call a taxi for their guests They charge higher and make being far from any outside activities unpleasant They also have a very limited menu and the breakfast buffer is inadequate Like many hotels in the Philippines its badly managed

Crowded and impersonal.
Jump-off point for island hopping because they have their own pier; standard room is a good size and clean (except for shower area tiles which were gross); good price

It would have been a good stay if the bathroom had been improved by cleaning the corners of the floor and fixing the grout of the tiles (they looked gross). The bed was very hard and a tad short for my 6-foot tall husband. The fact that you had to pay additional fees for Wi-Fi access was very strange to me - for most hotels it's free. Also, they should warn guests if they have have corporate events during their stay. We caught 3 companies having their office summer outings on the same day of our stay and the noise drove us nuts. Plus, the pool and beach were overrun with day trippers and corporate event guests so there was nowhere to hang out. Important note: the beach is brackish water so it doesn't look very inviting. All in all, it was just a jump-off point for the island hopping; they had a good package for Island picnic at 3,oooPHP per person for 2 islands, a heavy lunch, 1 bottled water and towels. However, Pandanon was extremely overrated and totally not worth the trip. Skip Pandanon and just go to Nalusuan and Hilutungan.

Nice Hotel
Child friendly pools, restaurant with variety of menu available, sunrise and sunset by the beach

The hotel is nice. But to make your stay more comfortable you have to have your own transportation available, make arrangement to any local car rentals for your drop off and pick up from and to the airport.

Awesome Stay at Pacific Cebu Resort

We had an awesome time at Paciic Cebu Resort. Although the aircon in the room was a bit warm (the allocation for it was bigger than the size of the aircon), we had a relaxing time. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax away from the noisy and busy streets of the city. Having said that, it is a bit far from public transport. You have to go through a LONG street of residential areas to get to the resort. To get to the place where you can take a cab, you have to pay 100php (tric) but it can be negotiated, we got ours for like 50-70php.

Inital impression poor due to taxi driver who could not find it and no locals asked knew of it. An established location but in need of some major updating an refurbishment.
The room was dated - tv old - aircon on last legs - decor outdated.
Grounds need considerable attention - poor night lighting for moving room to restaurant - walkways need reconcreting - gardens need developing - pool needs plastering finished in areas .
Despite the criticisms what saves this hotel is the quiet beach location - good restaurant - staff service and friendliness - and it was quiet which made it relaxing.
