Pleasant stay at backpacker style studio unit. Walking distance to town, shops, lake and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

shared kitchen is very clean and useful, we can buy meat and vegetable from near supermarket named "pak n save" then cook it at shared kitchen! and room was very comfortable!

Stayed 1 night during a driving tour of NZ. Off road free parking, friendly reception staff, walking distance to the beach and town. Seems to be recently refurbished, bedroom furniture chipwood but bed was comfy, no aircon. Shower over bath, Corner kitchen for residents use was huge and well equipped. No complaints for the money - recommended.

Reception work from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. so I not recommend to check-in late. There are no adapters fro eupoean charge but overall it is spacious suite and large king size bed

clean, close to town, everything you need
views of the lake, great service, nice and quiet.

it was a great place to relax before news years. we had everything we needed in our room but there were common areas in the lodge so that we could meet other people. it would have been nice to have a toaster in the rooms and room service came in early before 10am while i was having a shower which was very rude and inappropriate, but evrything else was amazing thank you!
Restaurant Tip:
Best Kebabs - is cheap, close to the Lodge, tastes great and semi-healthy.

We have stayed in the hotel in the new year eve. It's nice hotel, really clean. Staff is really helpful. Location is good, only 6 mins walk to the shop and supermarket.
