Enjoyable Stay

Room size, close to Obuko train station, friendly staff.

The stay was enjoyable. Only the "breakfast included" was misleading. Bread, cereal, juice and coffee is not my idea of breakfast.

This hotel was perfect for us. So close to the action without feeling crowded or noisy. All the best food was right there on the same block, just a stroll around the corner for dinner. Breakie is available in the hotel for ¥600. Can't comment on the quality as we hit the road early to see the sights and ate on the way. But it looked good - toast, coffee etc and plenty of people were dining there. A quick train trip got us to all the places we wanted to see - sky tree, gardens, temples, Harajuku, crazy rabbit café! :) Don't be put off by the train station being so close (tracks run right past the front doors to the hotel!) because we didn't hear one single train the whole time we were there (5 nights). The staff are helpful and we were able to sort out the details in English (unfortunately "thank you very much" is the extent of our Japanese). You can hire an adaptor for ¥1000 at the front desk. Rooms are clean and comfortable with cooking facilities (if one is inclined to maintain their domestic skills whilst on holidays!)...and while we are on that topic; there is a laundry available on the basement floor. The free Wifi is easily accessible and fast. All in all, great place to stay :)

Nice and comforable but breakfast lack variety. Staff are helpful and able to converse in english. No lack of local eateries and convenience stores as there are many. Train station is just a hop away with easy access to many areas. Great view of fuji-san on clear day.
