Excellent service - children friendly

1.Hotel staff was excellent, 2. Location was quiet/ relaxed athmosphere, 3. Very baby friendly
We stayed for 6 nights for a quick relaxation holiday, booked a standard room and received an upgrade to deluxe room. Staff was very helpful and could address all our issues (to mention here are especially Mrs. Thanyaporn, Mrs. Amy and Mr. Boris Otto). We had the regency club included which served a sufficiently big breakfast and light dinner including drinks through the happy hour. If you would like a bigger variety book the breakfast option or have dinner in the 2 restaurants. The Spa treatment was also nice and can be recommended. We already consider to come back again.

Dream hotel. Dream Vacation

The best 3 things at the hotel are: pool, staff, & food.
I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff was so accommodating & had a soultion for any issue. They upgraded our room since we had waited so long for our checkout. The views are beautiful on the poolside. Robbie was an amazing bartender by the pool! I loved everything about this hotel! The only downside is there is no usable beach. I stayed by the pool so I was fine. Thanks so much for my enjoyable stay!

Something is good and something is not good.

View, View, View
First impression of Hyatt regency Phuket was very welcome environment When checked in, I was very impressed by someone who showed me room because she gave me such a quick and proper response. When I had pointed out room floor condition is not good, she immediately talked to her boss then gave me other up-grade room which was very clean and decent. I do very thanks to her who managed my room arrangement. But some of staffs made me feel very bad. I figured out if I want to have better service at Hyatt regency Phuket, I have to be European or White American. First case, it was second day. When I got into the restaurant for breakfast, there was no one to do proper reception. After I was waiting to be seated for a while, a lady showed herself from back door of the restaurant then told me “what is room number” and “enjoy it”. That’s all. There was no greeting and no proper action to hotel guest to come restaurant. Am I wrong expecting to hear that “Good Moring”, “How are you today”, “Coffee or tea” or some usual conversation for breakfast? I just found table and have a seat myself. And I had to ask napkin, I had to ask coffee & tea. At that time, I could not help but to find out that the way of service difference to deal with Asian people and European/White people. Some of restaurant staffs only gave proper service to European/White people. Chinese people were seating next to me. They did not have napkin and Coffee/ tea too. Second case, when I used pools, I picked up some of pool towels in front of guy who was in charge of pool area. I said to him “Good morning” as a greeting at first. At that time, he wrote something and he just kept face down. I did not hear any greeting response and just ask me “What is your room number”. I thought “What is wrong with these hotel people” I found myself to be ignored. . I think that some staffs of restaurant and pool area have to take some education how to give proper greeting and service to hotel guest.

Pure relaxation

Swimming pool, Hotel condition, Staffs
We had wonderful 3 days of relaxation. They have maintained their standard all through. Enjoyed the nice swimming pool & stuning view from the room. And the staffs were so friendly & helpful.
