location good. nearby shopping. decent food choice.
Hotel stay is not so good. Bed is really really bad. Room quite small for this kind of price. Service not as good as i thought from some of the front desk. Few more questions ask. They will feel annoy. Will not stay this hotel in future.

Great Location in Shinjuku

Location, Location, Location
When we checked into the hotel we were told there were renovations being carried out on our floor during the day which did not really bother us. Our room was a standard twin and fairly small but acceptable for Japan. Only one chair in the room but the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a bit mouldy and not as clean as we expected ...... maybe it is due for renovation soon? Also the glasses were not washed for the three nights we were there which we thought unusual. One redeeming feature was the easy access to Shinjuku Staion as we had an early departure to get to Narita Airport for a mid morning flight. We did not eat at the hotel and had breakfast at a little cafe across the road which was ok. Would consider staying here again when renovations completed as location excellent.

Tiny room although it is usual in area like Shinjuku and the location is perfect for going around and lots of places to hangout and feed yourself

Excellent location

Location, staff and convenience
I've stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and my main concern was location and convenience, which met my requirements. It's close to the train station (Shinjuku), even though I had a hard time to find it right away (lets say that the walking distance would be around 15 min, but it's hard to say because like I said I got lost). There are a lot of things to do around, big stores and the 100 yen store is close by, the front desk is 24hours, staff is super nice, there is a convenience store a few steps away. Now, the room itself is not big as the western standard, the bathroom is even tiner, they had some toiletries as shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste/ toohbrush which was nice. I haven't tried their food so I can't comment on it. So far, I would reccomend it!

Good location in the heart of Shinjuku

The hotel is close to the Shinjuku-Odakyu station. Walking distance to good food and shopping
Ibis Tokyo Shinjuku is a good tourist hotel about 10mins walking distance from the Shinjuku JR station and less than 3 mins walk to the red line subway station. I had forgotten how small Tokyo hotel rooms are. We stayed in a twin sharing room. It had all the daily necessities (Shiseido products) but with our 26-29 inch luggage, we had barely enough space to walk after that. Booking the promotional twin sharing room for 2 persons was also challenging. Somehow, my booking for 2 persons became 1 person upon confirmation. We had to top up another 6000 yen for the room upon arrival. It was most frustrating. Our reservations did not come with breakfast. There is a Mcdonald's on the ground floor (the lobby is on the 2nd floor). We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at Hoshino (opens at 8am) across the street instead (try the breakfast set or the pancake souffle). Check out the Omoide Yokocho street diagonally across the hotel. It features hole-in-the-wall restaurants selling yakitori. Great place for dinner!

Staff was helpful. However In-room wifi is not acceptable. I can barely receive signal with all my devices.
