La Rose Boutique Hotel and Spa has a sister hotel at La Rose Suites. It was managed by a very nice and understanding manager Mr Many. He made sure all my meetings were done on time. My stay both in the La Rose Suite on the first day and then La Rose Boutique Hotel & Spa on the subsequent 2 days were excellent. Everytime I come back to the hotels tired after the meetings, the staff will stand and greet us saying "Welcome HOME !" It is very good. The 24 hours "Breakfast" concept is very good. Sometimes we have to rush off for a meeting in the morning and skipping breakfast. We can still come back at noon to catch a brunch. Or we prefer a light dinner-breakfast. As long as we indicate the time, we will be served simple delicious food such as a platter of sandwiches, eggs, juice, fried noodles or rice. The staff got a tuk tuk on our break from meetings on the 2nd day. It cost us US$8 for a few hours and he brought us to a good Khmer Buffet at Khmer Bassac at Mao Tse Tung Boulevard. Even got us a tuk tuk to the airport. Our stay in Phnom Penh was certainly memorable made by Mr Many and his staff.

Had another great stay at la rose. We've stayed the previous year during a business trip as well. The staff and manager are very nice people, helping us arranging our transport and excellent service. Rooms are clean and tidy.

Not worth for money
Breakfast is ok
We think it was not worth for money, the price is the most expensive among three hotels we stayed in Cambodia, while the service or room cleanliness is the worst among these hotels. Price - quite expensive, $121 including tax. Service - we expect the staff would be more initiative on this price, introducing the sight seeing place, restaurant. Besides, staff did not show any sympathy when my husband got hurt. They helped us to arrange a car for airport pick up, while we found their price is more expensive than other hotel which with the same grade/better service level. Don't recommend to stay here.

This hotel goes out of the way to satisfy your every wish. Making you feel at home. Fantastic food, comfy room, loved the rain shower. Free Tuk tuk to sister hotel pool, or just to shorten a walk to attractions.

Welcome experience to Cambodia.
By far the staff. That were so ver friendly , kind & helpful. I became quickly familiar with a new country because of the staffs help. The boutique hotel was so clean with all amenities.
My stay was great. Arriving in a new country is daunting in itself. This boutique hotel & staff helped me in every way to feel comfortable. They all were a huge help in getting my photography assignment done as efficiently as possible. A great way to begin my Cambodian adventure!

One of the best boutique hotel in the city
Food & Wine, Room Comfort, Staff Performance
Very good in general, hope the rooms have balcony then would be perfect this is surely one of the best boutique hotel in Phnom Penh with spa & massage service available, easy access and to the new AEON shopping mall, staff performance is no questions, being well-taking care throughout the whole stays, must get the deluxe room with bathtub/separate walk-in shower, very comfortable large beds, many TV & Movie Channels (all free), very chic hotel with a few historic furniture/surroundings, many top class/luxury restaurants nearby, pretty much few of the best restaurants you can have in Phnom Penh, French, Italians, Café & Lounge, Asian Delights! They are opening a new branch nearby because they have having more and more guests/clients coming in, perfect! Will be there again very soon and ttry their new branch hotel as well, bigger and more facilities.

a curious stay... mixed feelings

this hotel has excellent ratings on a number of sites. for us, it was a curious stay. the hotel is located on a main road (good for access, bad for charm), but the rooms we stayed in weren't affected by traffic noise. there was a problem with the shower (strong very hot water pressure, terrible cold water pressure). we asked for this to be fixed and were moved to another room which didn't have these problems. the new room suffered from a weak wifi signal and there was a curious "drains" smell at nighttime which seemed to be affecting a number of rooms (with guests leaving their doors open to vent the smell); i suspect that this was only a temporary issue, however. check-in was quick, but check-out was impeded by querying whether we were responsible for a mineral water bottle with a broken seal (we weren't, so assume this was a previous guest); we didn't have to pay for that. the decor of the rooms is smart and the bathrooms are quite large. the staff were very helpful in hailing tut-tuk's and provided us with a free massage voucher in recognition of the shower problem and having to change rooms. the massage was excellent (and the hotel is known for its spa, which non-guests can also use, i believe). the brekfast was average-to-good quality. all in all, a mixed stay, but, overall, more positive than negative.
