Affordable, Location & Location
Frequent guests of Imm Hotel Bangkok, but first time at Imm Hotel Thaphae, and it out grows my estimations. The location is good, in front of the Thaphae Gate, with restaurants, pharmacies and convenience stores around. The girl at the Travel & Taxi counter was extremely helpful. There is a laundrynette just beside the lane of the hotel, 30 baht/kg. Songtaew (red mini-buses) are quite accessible, we got around town with these the whole trip. The fare is basically 20 baht/trip. We even traveled to the airport with it (around 15-20 minutes), 100 baht for a group of six. In addition, if you are a Chinese from Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan etc, please state your nationality at every possible chance to differentiate you from the Mainland Chinese. The mainland chinese doesn't have a good reputation among the folks of Chiang Mai.

Cheap budget hotel with good location
Next to it is macdonald, opposite it is the Sunday walking street, behind it abt 20 mins walk is the night bazaar
Stay was pleasant. The room is big and clean looking and cheap. Love the location! Bad things: the Bfast is not appealing and no lift! Got to walk up the stairs, lucky the highest is 3rd floor only.

Nice priced room in a nice location
Location, price, clean
I like the Thapae Gate area, and the Imm is in a convenient location. There are many restaurants close by, a number of temples within walking distance and the Night Bazaar is about a 10 minute walk or a 2-3 minute Tuk-Tuk ride.

it is okay.
location, service, wifi.
I feel claustrophobic . The room has a small glass window. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulty. No lift, no porter service.

Clean, Great Location & Friendly Staffs
Value for money, center of Chiengmai location, new hotel
Great service, very close to walking street (only 20-30 steps from hotel door) nothing much in the room, but you can find standard facilities in the room.
