It wasn't bad
Not much to see or do near golden triangle - but we made the best of it - we hired mopeds for 250 baht for the day and that made the experience a lot of fun and was so much cheaper than taxiing around. The boat trip across to neighboring countries is a waste of time and money. We took our mopeds to Doy Tung and White Temple - this experience was the highlight of our experience in Chang Rai
