This is a lovely old hotel that manages to retain its class and sophistication even with the recent surge in tourism in Sorrento. The public areas have a grand feel to them that is in the style of days gone by. From the balconies you may take in sweeping and impressive views of the nearby Mt. Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The swimming pool is very inviting and somewhat tucked away in a secluded and private area. Best of all in many visitors' opinions is the terrific food, which really stands out - a delicious selection of rolls, ham, eggs, juices, coffee, brioches, tarts, and tea and an equally appealing selection for dinner. With it's appealing 16th century architecture amid a garden of lemon and orange trees this hotel is like something from a story book.
