Staff was helpful with getting around town. However should be more infomative about last minute changes to our room. For example while we were upgraded to a better room we were unable to access the pool and bar due to a buyout of standard rooms. Also no hot/warm water

Great place with awesome staff!
the pool, the beds, the staff
It was a great experience. The location was very secluded and away from the touristy hustle and bustle of ubud which was just what we were looking for. The staff was very helpful and hardworking. We had a few issues with our room and booking but they were sorted out and we had a great stay.

Location and facilities
The room was nice and clean but deluxe room is small, and the painting is a little bit creepy.. Location quite hard to find.. The wifi is slow.. Breakfast need more variation.. There's no amenities and no bathroom mat.. The staff was friendly.. No TV at deluxe room.. Our room was located in front of swimming room.. Ambience good, will come back again if facilities were more completed..

We were there for about 4 nights. We had a warm welcome in the hotel by the very nice staff (nice gentle woman on the front office). Unfortunately the hotel is a construction site. In the restaurant area they storage furniture, electric hammer was working the whole day till we said they should quit - No proper Management - everybody is doing they want!! The owner and manager was at the hotel during our stay. Sorry, but greeting is the minimum to guests. For shure we are Austrians and they are German. Unacceptable!!! We checked that they were talking german and when we enterd they switched to englisch. No asking if everything is fine or something else. Rather played with their kids than working. The Pool site was damaged and looks on the first view beautiful but then really restoreable. the staff looks for it very good - but it need to be restored. The whole photos are photoshoped and nearly everythings looks different to the pictures. Behind the Pool site, there is another construction site were they build new rooms - better they should look on the current rooms. Rooms: We had a Family suite - minus: -no water on the room - only on the arrival day 1/2 lt. for each guest! -no safe -no minibar -Television without any programs (only a DVD Player is working) -not very clean room -no showergel or shampoo or other facilities -dirty and damaged towels -only 2 pool towels for 3 persons -1 of 2 airconidtions was broken -small breakfast offer (every day, pancakes, fruits, and scambled eggs) for tea or coffee you have to ask extra (waiting up to 10-15 min.) -kinsize bet in a normal wooden bedframe (very uncomfortable!!)) plus: + big room + nice furniture (picutres and wardrope) +view out of the room to the pool If you decide to visit UBUD book this hotel just for sleeping and not more than 2 nights. Then of course its a good place otherwise go rather to another one. We will not return for shure!!

Not a best of stay moment
Villa layout
The trip to this place was started a bit off note, as the route sugggested to go via Maya Ubud was under construction. But the alternate route was easy to find. Later I found out that the room I booked was not what I had in mind, but perhaps it's more on the communications glitch, since I didn't ask for more information before the booking. The place itself was nice, but with limited staff and very minimum amenities inside the room (no electric kettle or coffee/tea supplies), you will find problem just because you need some hot drink late at night. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but not that much to make us want to come back.

Not what we expected
We expected a 70sq room with fridge, dining area, etc. we were given a small 2 connecting bedroom instead. By asking the staff we found out that there was not a suite as described on the website, nor was there a kids club, refrigerator, etc. don't go with young children because there are very steep stairs without guard rails and ponds without guard rails. Ants and Mosquitos everywhere in room and outside. Staff is very helpful but the owner doesn't listen to any complaints or suggestions.
