Good location in older hotel
A once grand and modern hotel in a great location for transport, train station and older parts of town, not pretty run down ..really it needs renovation for just about everything but I wonder if they're planning to pull down and rebuild, so postponing and repairs. It really is showing its age in most aspects, but it has a big breakfast and remains good value and convenient if you don't mind the general air of fatigue.

Out of date but great location
Like most Indonesian cities there has been a boom of newer hotels recently, outclassing the rather older ones that were good in their day. Dharma Deli is one of these latter earlier hotels, once it must have been quite impressive but now it's bit shabby and rundown. From an earlier time few power points. But its a great location near the station, the Merdeka Walk eating street, Chinatown eats in Jl Semarang, and a walk from TipTop cafe and the Tjong A Fie mansion-museum. It was fine for me ..staff friendly and helpful. Heavy traffic in last section to the hotel, but all-round if you don't mind the need for a renovation, it's fine.
