Urgently needs renovating in some areas
Pools have slimy algae on some walls.Simple solution copper sulfate!.. Staff near pool prefer sit at beach and talk... Needs a strong manager to go around everywhere and TELL STAFF WHAT THEY MUST DO!!..Yesterday toilets around big pool near restaurant were DISGUSTING! MORE LIKE 1 STAR HOTEL! Food fantastic at breakfast always.. Rules needed to stop some people stealing food from bfast! For the price you can live with these things. Stayed 2 weeks at cottage very close to beach..It doesnt get better than that!

Return after 5 years
Great to be back @ Grand Inna Bali hotel ... it had not really changed at all since I was there last ... it was familiar - service great - rooms clean - my early morning 5:00 am breakfast was brought over as requested to my room .. will return again in future ..

Value for Money hotel
The hotel is pretty old, but they are refurbishing (which the garden wing rooms desperately need). The rooms are big, bathroom is smallish, showing signs of wear and tear, but very clean. Note, the hotel is VERY spread out and there are no maps in the rooms so figuring out where everything is was a challenge. Recommend the hotel put maps, pool and restaurant information in the information folder. The gardens are beautifully kept, the main restaurant was very tired with stained chairs. Breakfast OK, not fantastic. The sign 'don't take food' was very childish, and should be removed.

Nice location
My only problem with the hotel was the air conditioning in room didn't work very well, had a few hot nights. Garden Rooms are clean but little tired, bathrooms need bit of upgrade. Comfortable beds and pillows which was nice. Lovely gardens and pool areas right on beach. Not to far to walk to try local resturants or its cheap and easy to get taxis if needed.

You guys really need to do major renovation; too old for the 21st century tourism industry. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful, though.

oldie but goodie
location pool quiet side of island
stayed our 1st night then 10 days later flight delay for 2 days so re booked Inna Grand. Upgraded to Garden Wing on availability so minor problem solved. Pool is refreshing, beach is good and many restaurants to choose from. Lovely sunrise, good value.

Cheap for a reason
Cheap and good beach location
For those looking for a cheap place to stay with an 80`s look and feel then this is ideal. While the low cost is cheap and one should lower expectations, this place delivers even less and needs a full face lift. Light buttons were broken on the wall, the bath leaked, the doors to the balcony stuck,someone had obviously played soccer with am iron on the floor as there were burn marks on the carpet and dinner undercooked - our 2 year old though lover his pasta. Our breakfast box in the morning that had been kindly left waiting for us at reception as we had an early flight had ants in it. The reception staff couldnt find the airport on a map.
