Hotel Description
InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel is a world-class hotel in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui business, entertainment, and shopping...see more InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel is a world-class hotel in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui business, entertainment, and shopping district. The Harbour City Shopping Center and the Hong Kong Space Museum, Cultural Center, and Museum of Art are an easy walk away. The nearby, iconic Star Ferry gives easy access to the rest of the city. Almost two-thirds of all rooms, dressed in rich silks and contemporary Asian artwork with a most comfortable bed, have views of Victoria Harbor. The bathrooms have a sunken tub and are finished in Italian marble. The business center is high-tech. For an experience, have the hotel arrange a private local market tour or dim sum making class. When you return, treat yourself to a massage at the feng shui inspired I-Spa and then dinner at SPOON, the great French chef Alain Ducasse’s monument to contemporary French gastronomy. Or try any of the other four world famous restaurants. Whatever the reason for your stay, InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel will make it a good one.

Review of Intercontinental

Its harbour view
Its main draw is its beautiful harbour view from the room and its lobby lounge & restaurants. Service from its staff is excellent. There is attention to details like a Bose sound system & speakers. The only drawback is its distance to the MRT station. It is quite tiring & uncomfortable to walk out of the hotel during the hot season. As a whole, it has been a pleasant experience staying in the hotel.

Hardwares need update, softwares need training

Room was big, view was fantastic, front desk staff was polite and helpful,
1. Birthday surprise I actually appreciated that they did read my remarks and prepared a little surprise - a delicious chocolate caramel cake. Yet it was delivered by a rather rude and grumpy staff. The mask-faced man simply put the cake on the desk (and produced a big noise) without saying a word, of course no utensils were properly placed 2. Decoration We were in harbour view double bed room. View was very good, but interior design of the room is quite outdated. Worst thing in bathroom.., the marbles reminded me of small business hotel in the States built in 70s... 3. Cleanliness Emmmmm full of dust in some parts of bathroom. The second set of shower creams etc was covered with dust. Really bad. The bath tub was dusty too, and some grayish stink inside. Not sure if it's too old to be cleaned or what... Yes it's a grand 5 stars hotel But it needs improvement indeed
