Pool was in need of a good clean. The Unit was smelling of smoke, dirty kitchen, smelly fridge, showers really mouldy, the whole unit in serious need of a reasonable clean. Very expensive experience considering all this.

Location Location
The location is great - very close to the beach, close to restaurants and close to shops. It was also nice and quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay - it was pleasant enough accommodation but really it was all about the beach. Our room was comfortable enough, the main negative was our view from the balcony which was the back of a 1970's block of units. Not all rooms face this outlook. The pool and spa were clean and well kept. We had a friend stay overnight; the resort staff were very helpful about providing a trundle bed. Internet connection was through a third party provider; this was quite expensive and the connection pretty slow.

I highly recommend Island beach resort.Given the price I was expecting much less. The apartment was generously sized, new and comfortable. Its quietly situated half way between the beach and Pacific fair shopping center/Jupiters Casino. A few minutes walk to buses and the future light rail. The staff were helpful pool decent.

Great location but no lift

Starting to get a bit run down and the stairs are a bit of a treck with baggage and esky etc.
Close to all shoppping, restaurants, clubs & casino.
Restaurant Tip:
Walking distance to eat street.

Great stay, will be back again. Great location near to the beach, park for kids, shops and restaurants.

We had a great time at Island Beach Resort, close to the beach, shopping centre, casino, cafes etc, the room, was lovely, bbq facility, spa and the pool was clean. The room was tidy, clean we could not fault the place. Receptionist was helpful. Will be back again and again

Right from the start, the ladied on the reception desk was very pleasant and helpfuff, the Hotel presents very well. Good sized rooms, also nice and clean,
