Great stay for this time, the staff gives me an updated room, that was very good for it. Their staffs also helped me to take care of my kid's broken knees, and helped to carry to the room when she sleept on car. Anyway it's a friendly and great resort except a little bit far from Chaweng downtown.

Nice and relaxing but not cheap
quiet and clean nature nearby

Friendly staff, but overrated in terms of F&B. Fine dining overpriced, bearnaise sauce very vinegary and wines too expensive, for the usual, Asian ½ glass. Beach, well you cannot swim in the sea, the beach is shallow and with lots of small stones. However, the pool is very nice. If you want to be a 5 star, you need also to improve the language skills of the staff and the knowledge of food and beverage. In general too expensive for what it was. However, everyone was very kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Loved having the private pool and easy access to the beach and main pool. The breakfast was good with a large selection. We walked to the restaurant next door (GG's) most nights for good food for a good price. The only things that were negative was the cost of breakfast for a four year old who eats about $2 worth of food. They charge half price which is around $12. We did get that waived, but still crazy when you consider what we were paying per night for our room. Other than that a few nitpicky things about our room - only one towel hook, no electrical outlets near a mirror, deck lights on all night, no lock on bathroom door.

Very nice place to relax
Best size pool directly from door to room. Excellent pool with swim up bar. Best piña colada
8,7
I got the room on special and it was well worth it. I had direct pool access from the door, the pool is a good decent size. I had some friends over for a cocktail during sunset and they said it was the best piña colada they have had. It is a really nice place to relax. Only down side is that you can't really just nip quickly out and in again because of the location.

Just wonderful, in every way
Service, ammenities, beachfront location
9,7
If you want to stay somewhere comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, this is the place. If you need access to the busy outside world, stick to Chaweng, on the other side of the island.
This was the best stay we had in Thailand (out of 5 hotels) – we found ourselves comparing every other hotel to this one. And with the deal we got on Agoda, an amazing value. The location is excellent - right on a quiet, private beach with gorgeous sunset views and no obnoxious vendors. The service is impeccable. Rooms are large, beautiful, clean, with fast-working AC and huge comfy beds, and I never heard any noise from neighboring rooms or outside. They each have minibars with free bottled water and in-room safe. The décor is modern and colors pleasant – wood floors, woven rugs, rain shower, deep bathtub that could fit 4 people, soft chaise lounges in the room and on the balcony. The pool is gigantic and never crowded, and pool bar happy hour prices aren’t bad, though food is a bit overpriced and the secluded location means you’re forced to eat at the resort pretty much 24/7. Breakfast buffet was excellent – delicious French press coffee, made-to-order waffles, omelettes, smoothies. I often ate so much I didn’t even need lunch. They provide standard size beach towels in your room as well as large towels on the beach for the lounge chairs.
The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from Chaweng 3x/day if you want to shop (the beach is super crowded and the water is rough – nothing special). Wifi at the resort is free, but very spotty – wish they’d had some computers for guest use. It would also be helpful to have some convenience items available like sunscreen, OTC medications, etc., because you have to cab to the nearest 7-11. My only big complaint is that they wouldn’t allow me to call my travel insurance company (a free collect number) without charge after I got a bug bite on my eye causing it to swell shut, and there are no nearby payphones. Fortunately Benadryl worked within 24hrs.
