Amazing surroundings

Artistic feel, Thai style architecture, comfortable
We had amazing stay at the hotel, very relaxing and quiet hotel perfect for young families. Rooms are amazing. Our 4 yrs old daughter loved it and also the outside area. Location very good, quiet road and lovely atmosphere. Staff was great and helpful. Would recommend.

Good location and nice environment

The decorations are great and unique
The location is in the central of city and easy to reach attractions. The decoration is really Thai style which is unique and special. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth trying and highly recommend!

The perfect guest house!

location, quirky charm, cleanliness
Our family booked two rooms here, and then returned when we got back into Chiang Mai. We loved staying at this fun guest house, which felt like a small artists enclave. The courtyard / lobby was open to the air and decorated with interesting pieces tucked into corners. Rooms were equally quirky and fun, but also clean and comfortable. Location was great - we easily walked to Wat Chedi Luang and the Saturday night walking market (and took a tuk tuk back - be sure to tuck a business card with the address in your pocket). The staff was very friendly. Our schedule the first morning had us departing before their breakfast is usually served, so I'd planned on eating while we were out. Instead, they offered to serve us early. The morning we departed, we left too early for even that, but the staff kindly left us a bag of fruit and some yogurts in the fridge to take with us. We appreciated the gesture and will absolutely stay with them again when we return to Chiang Mai.

Nice, cozy place

Location, wifi and comfortable
The hotel is very close to the airport and it is near bars and restaurants. The night market is a little ways away but an easy walk. Also there is the famous Wat Chedi nearby. Room wifi was the best and the room was very cozy and clean.

fantastic stay

good location, clean and comfy room, friendly staffs
It's located inside the old city, away from the main road, so you don't get to hear the noise from the traffic. Saturday market is on the left of the hotel where sunday market is on the right, both about 5 min walk and airport is about 15 min drive. The room is very nicely decorated and spacious. We were assigned to the room at 2nd floor, with attached balcony. This hotel doesn't have lift. So if you have elderly or big luggage try to request for 1st floor rooms. They do provide daily breakfast, from 7 to 10am. With various type of fruits, some pasta or bee hoon, egg and coffee or tea, quite full for me. There was 1 morning we are suppose to be picked up by the tour van at 7am. The staff took our breakfast order the day before and specially prepared for us at 640am, that's so thoughtful. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, able to speak english, we have no problems in communication. They also arranged red cab for us to where we wanted to go. We booked a 1 day tour to Chiang Rai through the staff, they do have various of package to choose from. Overall it's a pleasant experience and if you are looking for some unique stay in Chiang Mai, this is the place you are looking for. I will definitely go back if there is a chance. :)

Wooden boutique house

Mosquitoes are everywhere! Room is quite big and comfortable ignoring the fact that mosquitoes is flying around. The breakfast is simple, piece of toast with eggs. Nothing special and not for the value of money we paid for. With the amount of money paid, we could opt for better hotel.

Thai-ish Hotel Design

Very Thai style, Spacious and cozy room
Jangmuang Boutique House is trully a hidden germ in Chiang Mai. Our stay was fantastic, the staffs very friendly and helpful to our needs (most of it). Love the exterior and interior design of the hotel which is very Thai style. Love the butler cat "Tong Dee".We were arrived very early to Chiang Mai but the staff let us check in early so that we could change and clean ourselves before exploring the city. The cons is that our room's water kettle very dirty and unable to use it even we already wash it. The staff also unable to replace it to new one. Beside Jangmuang Boutique House, there is Jangmuang Guest House,so don't mix up with this two places. Overall, will stay here again but will not use the water kettle.
