Pleasant room, very spacious

The size of the room, the pool, and the cooked-to-order breakfast
had a pleasant stay. My driver accidentally took me to the Jasmine Family Lodge first, because that was off the main, so I suppose the location is a bit obscure for the Jasmine Family Hostel, but it wasn't much of a problem. The size of the room, and the operating air conditioning, was great! It was above my expectations considering they call themselves a hostel. I did find a dead cockroach and a spider in the bathroom, but I suppose being in Southeast Asia, it wasn't a huge surprise. The pool was also very pleasant. I enjoyed spending my afternoon relaxing there to cool off after a long morning of sightseeing at the Angkor temples. Overall, I had a nice stay.

Not good. We checked out and went to another hotel.

Not to bad but get some inconveniences

- receptionist helpful
Location gets little far from olad market, pub street. Room had no toothbrush and some normal stuffs in toilet. Air con needs long time to spread out cool air. Receptionist was helpful but so hard to see her smile. Swimming pool was dirty and too much flo. ( I booked at Jasmine family but i stayed at Jamine lougde - same owner)

Great facilities, staff are not helpful

Room, pool, cleanliness
Very nice pool area and good, clean rooms. Wouldn't rent bicycles as 'the owner was the only one with a key' and he wasn't there, but they did have tuk tuks instead to get to angkor wat ($2 bicycle, $20 tuk tuk). Staff weren't very helpful and it seemed like an inconvenience to get a local map, SIM card, order food, etc. I was going to stay an extra night as rooms were cheap, but they only had more expensive rooms available in person. Bit disappointing.

Very comfortable

Comfy bed, nice pool and free breakfast.
Comfiest bed we have had in SE Asia on a $40/day budget for everything. The free breakfast was perfect for that as well, since we spend a bit more on the room than we would like to (trying to stay at $20/night or less). Good location because it is quiet, but rent a bike for $2/day to ride the few min to the night market and pub street, if that's your thing. We rode bikes to Angkor Wat from the hotel, which you should absolutely consider doing. Saw WAY more than we would have in a tuk-tuk... So, perfect location for that. Would definitely stay here again.

Guesthouse failure.

It has the pool, relatively quiet, green.
Awful. Receptionists are ill-trained, poor choice of food and drinks, low performance of cleaning staff.

No sheet!!

Nice pool, good food,
Nice hostel, nice location, pool is great but I had no sheet/blanket on my bed I asked several times throughout the day and kept being told I would get one, when it got to 11.30pm and still didn't have one I asked again then got told there wouldn't be one till morning when housekeeping did laundry and the guy then refused to speak to me, just kept saying 'no' Also they had overbooked the rooms so there was people sleeping on mattresses on the floor in between bunk beds, I left to meet a friend the next day, they refused to give me any money back (I had booked for 4 nights and only stayed one) I think if you are looking for a nice hotel and staying in a double/single room it would be a nice place to stay, but for a solo traveller in a dorm it's not what I was looking for.

Decent place

Food, pool, location
Not a bad location, didn't cost much in tuk Tuks to get around. The staff were unhelpful though and generally in a bad mood with the exception of one of their tour guides/ tuk tuk driver who was amazing. I was put in a large room on the first night with no furnture, curtains and the mattress was on the floor. Anyone could have walked around and just stood on the surrounding balcony and stared in. I asked to be moved and they moved me to a proper room whih was much nicer. The hot water worked well and the room was clean and tidy and did not smell. The breakfast was great too. The pool was lovely and many people just hung out there.
