Horrible Hotel, Water Damage Everywhere, Smells like Mold
I never give bad reviews, but this is totally unacceptable and I hope people reading this will save their money and never book this hotel. This location is actually AWESOME, lots of expats, coffee shops, its super quaint. But definitely will not stay at this particular hotel again, and I advise all of you not to. Value for money: I have stayed in a lot of hotels in China, and even with the "upgraded" price, its still horrible. Better off paying $10 USD more for something FAR better than this. Unless you are expecting to stay at a dingy motel, then you should go with this. Cleanliness: When we got out of the elevator of our floor, I felt like i was at a budget motel. There was a smell in the hallway, and things were falling apart. We got to the room and there was water damage all along the walls, its so bad that the floorboard was popping out. When asked if all the rooms are like that the lady said "YES". After going down and showing them how horrifying our room looks, they switched us to a higher floor. When we got to our floor, we noticed that the hallway looks different, this floor was actually renovated. Our room was much better than the last, but still worn down and have a smell to it. It is located right next to a very unsanitary kitchen. Throughout our stay we noticed that the original floor we were assigned to is pretty much the ONLY floor that was not renovated yet, did they put us there hoping we won't complain??? oh! and there was no phone in our 2nd room. Staff: very unhelpful. Asked where to get coffee, told me it's far away, so i walked about 15 mins. Later during our stay, I realized there are 2 coffee shops across the street of our hotel. No one spoke English there either. Facilities: there are none.

elevator is not working and staff were not able to help customers properly
Local people were cutting lines of elevator all the time, it was worst when there is only one elevator is working

Hidden Gem
This hotel got nice room and strong water pressure on their shower. The only problem is their hidden location. You have to walk quite far to the subway line 7.
