Very quaint and rustic hotel in a good location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were designed quite well (rustic and quaint) and the staff was very warm and accommodating. Would've been better had there been WiFi in the rooms (cellular signal was a bit weak) but the view more than made up for it. Perfect for a quick getaway.

Lovely B&B with a perfect view of Lake Taal
The view, the rooms and the location
We had a very enjoyable stay at Jopaquin's. The view was amazing, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly (although not very knowledgeable when it came to questions about things to do in Tagaytay).

It's simple but comfortable.
It doesn't help that this hotel is besides Domecillo which is 2 notches higher but very expensive. This hotel has its own simple charm and comfortable but could use a bit more attraction like nicer gold fishes or better birds than budgies.

Highly Recommended!
The staff, especially the receptionist on-duty, was very accomodating. She was very helpful with all my questions about directions and places to go. The room has a nice view of the lake.
First of all, I would like to commend the staff, especially the receptionist on-duty, for being extremely helpful with all our requests and questions. She did a great job and I hope she will continue doing so in the future. Next, the room we stayed in (Purple room) has a nice and cozy feel. I love that it opens to a nice little garden with a charming view of the lake. Good thing that we chose one of the lower rooms as it is probably the most quiet ones, shielded from the vehicular noise coming from the street. More than the room cleanliness and cute decorations, I appreciate the very very nice smelling sheets they used for the beddings. It adds up to overall cozy feeling of the entire room. Whatever that fabric softener is, do not change it to something else:-)

Comfortable stay at the heart of Tagaytay.
The three best things about this hotel is its homey feeling. The rooms are cozy and clean. Towels are soft and clean smelling. The staff are well trained.
Actually this is our 2nd stay at this bed and breakfast inn. We are planning to come back soon.
