Staff, location and price
Wonderful stay. Fine was reaaly helpful on my first day - she gave me a map and circled sites of interest. All the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. As a solo female traveller, I found the location perfect - felt safe walking home but the hotel was quiet. I stayed in both ac and fan room - due to my choice - both were great. I'd stay here again!

Not bad place but strange policy
Good size room, comfortable bed, v.good A/C, TV with many channels (Englich incl.), good bathroom, private balcony
From outside it looks like one of those simple "cheapies" but room was decent size, clean, comfortable bed, v.good A/C & fan, many V channels, nice good bathroom, enough furniture, large towels (never changed)small private balcony.Close to City Centre, restaurants,... But they have a strange policy: if you book room even for just 1 night they provide free transport from airport/bus/train, but if you stay for several days (like me) NO free transport from G/H. ??!! Another thing: I booked room for 4 nights @$13=390Baht but when I wanted to extend for few more days they said 500B/night. Thanks, I went to another place as good if not better as Junior for 390 "Nuan Pranee House" in even better location.

Location, Price, Staff
Staff were amazing! welcoming and warm, offering advice on what to do in Chiang Mia, ensuring we knew how to get around and that our stay was well worth it. It was a beautiful hostel close to the Sunday Market and many other things to see.

Great Place to Start Chiang Mai Adventures
Restaurant was very good, location was great, staff was helpful
We showed up quite early from a night bus and they were able to check us in immediately, which was great. Jeff, the owner, speaks excellent English and gave us a map and diretions to all the major attractions in Old City. The other staff is also helpful and speaks good English. Laundry is quick and cheap, and the guesthouse restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. Around the corner, there's also a fantastic Thai kitchen that has 40-50 baht meals and lots of Northern Thailand specialties. There are lots of bars about a 5-7 minute walk away, and a free pool table at Chiang Mai Saloon and The Wall. It's a great spot for exploring Old City and for renting a motorbike or a taxi to see other parts of Chiang Mai. Tiger Kingdom, Wat Doi Suthep, etc... are an easy trip away. We really enjoyed our stay at Junior Guesthouse and we ended up staying extra nights. Thanks for the great time!

Great value for stay
Price, Service, Location
The location was perfect, everything is a walk away. Staff was very friendly and room was big with large windows. They have a jacuzzi but didn't use. Staff provided great info on what to do and helped us book bus tickets back to Bangkok.
