Great hotel but poorly sound proofed rooms

Location, Service and Rooms
Good. But beware of renovation work going on. For some bizarre reason they thought if would be best to all builders to use jack hammers and drills from 8 am to midday on Saturday. waking up to a jack hammer being used on a neighbour ing floor is not what I had in mind when booking here. should have made this very clear on the web page! Furthermore, I could hear the tv and movement from next room. This made my stay a little unpleasant. However, service is impeccable and almost all staff speak good English. A rarity in Rio. Rooms are comfortable but the air can get a little dry and difficult to regulate. Would recommend this to others.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Good location
It was an awesome experience staying in this hotel. It is located in Copacabana and by the beach. the room is perfect with the ocean view, nice deco, large room and comfy bed.

Very beautiful hotel in a great location

Big windows overlooking the beach; perfect location; excellent service; beautiful breakfast
the hotel is perfectly located on copacabana beach. the window gave a great view of the beach although a balcony would have been even nicer. the room was spacious and very clean. breakfast was excellent with a wide menu choice and very attentive service. recommended.

Great location but poor service

location and breakfast
Hotel staff too noisy. Not professional. The fruits for breakfast were the best I've ever tried. Seaside rooms are probalby good. The one I had faced the center of the building. Overall it is a good place for business not recommend for leisure.

Good hotel but expensive

Staff were friendly and flexible wrt to a late check-out.
The main plus during the stay was the friendliness and flexibility fo the staff. Check-in was immediate even though it was 1pm and when I needed a late check-out the front desk were willing to accommodate given the hotel wasn't full. On the downside the room, whilst comfortable and very clean, was quite small and a little dated. The ocean view was a relatively small window and not worth the additional cost.
