Friendly staffs and resort like

Resort like environment, Friendly staffs
If you are looking for the quite and nice setting hotel, it is the one. The landscape is designed as a mini resort like. The room overall is clean. The staffs are very friendly.

Great location for exploring Bagan

location, comfortable bed, swimming pool, bike hire and breakfast
A perfectly comfortable and reasonably maintained operation with helpful staff, most of whom spoke English to a certain level. Not in the middle of the archaeological zone but near enough to explore it without travelling far. Great breakfast, if a bit oily, although this was true of most of the other places I ate so probably how things are cooked locally.

The pigeon hole

The staff were lovely!
The hotel itself looks like it is a bit tired, but overall ok. The food is mid range in comparison to the rest of our trip. The staff were fantastic. However, our room was not! My sister and I shared a superior room for three nights. We did not have hot water for the first two days/nights of our trip. I did point it out to the desk but it took a full day to get resolved. Mostly though, our room had what sounded like a thousand pigeons living on the roof. They constantly landed and slid all over, scratching their feet for traction to no avail, while dropping things repeatedly. This went on all day with cooing and sqwaking from about 5:30am until about 6pm. At night however, we could hear in the ceiling space what we first assumed was a large rat due to the sounds (however we think it may have been a squirrel). This sounded like it was trying to claw through the woven ceiling, and not only would this persist for minutes at a time with only short intervals of silence we could also SEE it trying to push through the ceiling. The last night it was so loud we finally gave up throwing things at the ceiling and hit the ceiling with the closet pole and it finally stopped. We are very relaxed travellers and usually have no complaints (even when we probably should) but the combination of noises and no hot water really got to us!!!! I am not suggesting the hotel should be overlooked, it was a lovely setting and the staff are so nice! But try and get a lower level room if you are in the superior rooms, I doubt it was only our room that had this issue as there were pigeons everywhere on the roof. The pool was a bit green, I was wary to swim in it, but I put my feet in and it was lovely to sit by the poolside and relax.

Amazing room, pool & staff - bathroom needs rehaul

Fantastic room for price, great breakfast & awesome pool area
We LOVED the Superior room - very tropical chic, large and clean. Price split between the two of us with 40% off Agoda Insider Deal made it a STEAL even compared to Ostello Bello/Thindi Sandar guesthouse. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of fresh items and even an egg chef. The nightly puppet show was a bit of a joke though but entertaining in a parody sort of way. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We absolutely loved the pool and grounds around the hotel - we feel like it is quite underrated regarding the price we paid ($31 USD per night). Ebike prices were same as street vendors and of better quality. BUT the bathroom needs a huge overhaul. Very outdated, tub and fixtures look 20 years old, sink was super high and almost out of reach for my 149cm tall girlfriend, and everything seemed to have water scum on it. And we found two roaches on two different days. Regardless, we would stay here again because of all the positives. We recommend it!

It was good hotel but with bad experience

kind staff, clean
Be careful with night shuttle to inle lake because we ordered vip bus for 15000 and get 20 years old mini van. total scam..

The hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming, very pleasing breakfast, easy walk to Main Street or a selection of restaurants and trinkets.
Our stay was very pleasant , however do not expect great wifi it is slow and inconsistent, as stated ground and service staff are excellent, front of house although trying to help are a little disorganised. Room is great the bath room although clean is a hash of ideas, that is trying to work its self out. All facilities are very serviceable.

Beautiful little oasis in Bagan.

amazing staff, magical lush garden with the pool, superb location.
Huge thanks for the staff of the hotel. They genuinely nice and caring. They helped us with directions, bus tickets, e-bike rentals. They just make you feel home. The hotel has a magical lush garden what is like a little oasis in the burning heat of Bagan. the hotel has a great selection for breakfast and they have their own e-bike rentals for the same price as on the street. This is definitely the place to stay in Bagan.

Nice gardens and swimming pool

swimming pool, location, octagonal rooms
The room paid for was not available, so a second bed had to be put in the room and I did not get the room I paid for until the 2nd day taking quite a bit of time to work things out. I had my own driver so had no problems there but others couldn't get taxis easily from the hotel. The breakfast was ok, but not exciting - limited for vegans and vegetarians. The rooms and grounds were well designed with a lot of fresh plant life everywhere - the pool was great after a hot day in the nearby ruins. The staff was friendly - English was limited but ok. I think with more time, this hotel will be a great place to stay near the monuments.
