Good location. Motel feel built in the 80s.

Location. Small kitchen/fridge in our room.
Nothing much to complain about. Nice staff. We only stayed one night. Room itself is a bit "depressing" and old looking. It included a small kitchen with a fridge! (really nice when you want to keep your food cool ;) ) We only slept there and didn't try any of their facilities. Not even had breakfast there. Pretty good value for the money.

Pool, Staff, Location
Room was extremely basic and furnishings were old. Lock didn't work. This place needs work!

Fair stay

1. Fairly central to travel to other places within Kalbarri 2) ample parking areas 3) quiet and peaceful
I would consider this a fair stay. We stayed here for 2 nights and booked the king spa bedroom. We were given the 2nd floor, which means that we have to carry the luggage up the stairs (there is no lift and there are only 2 floors- would be good if they can warn us in advance) The "spa" facility in the washroom is okay I guess but quite small. The room is generally clean with carpeted floor (I am not too sure how clean the carpeted floor is though..) When we first checked in and asked the receptionist if there were any nice food around, the answer we got weren't too helpful. Google and tripadvisor are much more reliable sources. Anyway, within the resort itself, there were no restaurants, so u have to settle all your meals outside. U can prepare your own breakfast (there are cutteries and microwave oven). We settled our meals at the nearby restaurants (the gilgal tavern, gorges cafe and black rock cafe). Location wise, it's good. It's about 15-30mins drive to the kalbarri national park, 10 mins drive to blue hole and red bluff beach. On the day of checkout, we went out for breakfast and brought our luggage to the car first, when we returned at 9.30am trying to use the washroom in our room, we were shocked that the cleaner was already cleaning the room (despite that we haven't officially checked out). She gave us a very displeased look (as though it was our fault). Overall, the staff probably needs some additional training in hotel management, otherwise it is a fair stay.

Midway stop

Clean, close and tidy
It was somewhere to stay on our trip home, after 13hours behind the wheel you just need somewhere clean to put our head down

Comfortable stay

Suite was spacious for a couple. There were 3 bbq grills which was great.
Stay was pleasant although I felt the carpet and kitchen floor needed proper cleaning.
