Well below par.
First they were. It going to let my girlfriend in because she did not have an ID card, despite having g a birth certificate. The bathroom smelt of mildew, the toiletries were inadequate and the floor was filthy. I had to ask for clean towels and the room was not made up... Not sure why this place has been so well reviewed. Far better value for money close by. At this price, other hotels provide breakfast...none here.

Breakfast needs to be adjusted
Very friendly, good Rooms, good location
Our stay was short and nice. Merely two things are present negative. 1. To Agoda - We booked a double superior, incl. breakfast, which means to us that breakfast should be incl. Suprisely it was only for one person the breakfast included and we need to pay additional 5$ for breakfast. 2. The choices for breakfast are not satisfying and the apperiance of the breakfast was not nice. At least it seemns to us that the price of 5$ per person for the breakfast was not valuable.

Great location and way bigger than I expected.
Huge, cheap, and good location.
Kambuja Inn was in a convenient spot in Phnom Penh. Pretty close to the market and plenty of restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very friendly and they always helped me out when I needed a taxi or directions. The place is a little old and not in the greatest shape but for me it was more than enough. The bed was big and nice, which is my main concern in a hotel as cheap as this. I would definitely stay here again.

OK Hotel - not 8+ tho
Comfy bed, friendly staff, quaint.
We can't see why this Guest House has 8+. It really isn't. It's a 7.0. Very dark room. Shower ok, nothing to write home about. Not particularly clean. Quite a walk away from even a little night life. Way too expensive for what it is. Look elsewhere.

Friendly staff, decent location, big room
The room was big but the furniture and bathroom were quite old. The toilet barely flushed and there was a short circuit when I plugged in the fridge. I've stayed at nicer places for less. And they overcharge for laundry...go down the street!

didn't live up to 'fantastic' rating
interesting colonial era feel
The airconditioning in our room was useless - it blew air but it wasn't cold at all so had a rather hot night. There were some gnawed out holes in the sheets and a rat or large gecko scurried across our bedroom floor. The room was huge but a bit dark despite all the lights. Shower was over a plastic bathtub. Staff friendly enough but didn't say much. Overall disappointed for a 'superior double' didn't feel we got value for money.

Antique charm, modern comforts,
The size and decor of the room, the staff, the food.
The building is French colonial, with original antique furniture and fittings. The room was just beautiful. Big enough to live in, immaculate ensuite, beautifully furnished with antiques. Cool and comfortable with a large ceiling fan and aircon. The staff were eager to help at every turn and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was excellent, served in a lovely dining space. I will definitely stay again.
